This free camp is excellent we stayed here for 3 days it has water toilets and a Bbq very well maintained would recommend it to anyone

Away from the river and straight across from the houses . didn't like at all ,3 million ants everywhere. Gum tree flats is100 percent better .

Lovely Modern interior & garden with a play area for kids. I thoroughly enjoyed my Thai beef salad & hubby's pizza didn't disappoint. We would definitely recommend a stop here if your in the area.

Amazing place to spend a few days. Clean flushing toilets, and good potable water. Heaps of room. Yeah there's bindis. Very well maintained by the council. Could be better, but it's definitely up there. Fully sealed access roads. The local pub is way nicer than you might think too. Access to the river for the able bodied only

Great stop over .. camping is permitted on this lovely flat grassed area..toilets are clean and well serviced...picnic shelters with electric bbq. Very pretty and peaceful spot.

Pallamallawa Fishing Club Memorial Park
Great spot for a stopover for a day or so. Located on the Gwydir River about 25k east of Moree, it's a free camp spot that is suitable for all types of vans and campers/ camping. There is a BBQ and shelter adjacent to a toilet block which was spotless when we were there. There are no showers. There is heaps of room and you can pick your own spot on the level grounds amongst the gum trees. Fishing in the Gwydir River, birdwatching or relaxing by the campfire all available, or have a counter lunch at the Pally Pub, just up the road. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

Best free camp only 25mins to moree , flushing toilets, fire pit sink , undercover areas .. happy days . Oh and a boat ramp..
