Wombat Valley Wild Country Cabins
Fantastic. Gas cooking and lighting, no electricity, didn't even have to see reception over the course of our stay. We were just left alone to enter and exit, sit beside the fire and contemplate the new year ahead. Exactly what you need after a long year.

Happy Campers here. Kids had a great time exploring and loved that we could take our dog so we didn't have to leave her at home. Cabins were in a lovely secluded location, clean and had all the bare essentials we needed. Perfect for a family weekend getaway.

THE most amazing getaway. So much much to be said for a night in front of a fire, surrounded by silence and stars and beautiful views. Loved it - recommend it highly!

I've stayed at lots of little places around Gippsland but this was like nothing else. A very cool experience staying in a log cabin without electricity and only gas lighting. A true off-the-grid experience! Only tip - make sure you bring a mosquito net.

Stayed in the lodge over the weekend absolutely worth every penny we all had a ripper of a time beautiful buildings and property awesome views lots of wildlife the photos of the lodge/cabins online don't do it justice! Brilliant walking tracks around the property and owners were brilliant to deal with and very helpful highly recommend a stay here it is definitely worth the drive

Did not see a soul my entire 4 day stay!Was exactly what i was hoping for and more!Great place to relax and switch off. Would have been 100% perfect if the pool was still in useWill definitely be back

Love that the place is pet friendly! We stayed for three nights and it was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we've had in a while. One of the best things was being able to let the dog outside off-leash and play to his heart's content without having to worry.Chopping firewood and making fires is also pretty fun to do if you're from the suburbs and don't get many chances to do that often.We were lucky to have amazing clear weather the whole time, and the night sky was absolutely stunning.Great walking options (with dogs) available nearby, so this really is the complete package.
