If you want your children to receive an education, or succeed in later life, do not send them here. The school has become too large, has terrible communication lines, is run-down and most teachers are terrible, lacking the ability to command a classroom, the majority of classes resemble a zoo! There is no learning going on here, just a facade to continue receiving their funding. Parents try to address & hold them accountable, but you get passed from pillar to post.... then ignored. Frustrating & disgusting unfortunately.The reputation this school once had, is long gone. If you value your child’s future, please consider another school.

this school ruins your child it will turn them from perfect to a hell person teachers are rude and don't know how to teach properly and guidence counsellors never see people unless they are their favourite, they always have closed toilets and never deal with anything office staff are nice though I know someone who went there reported something serious and it was dismissed. Don't send your child here mine was tourmented, 100% don't recommend

FROM A FORMER STUDENT (Graduated 2017) — UPDATED 2022:I absolutely hated this school. The pressure this school put on me to graduate & go to university is disgusting. University isn’t a path for everyone, so it shouldn’t be displayed as the ONLY option. When I learn’t about TAFE & tried to seek information through my school, they didn’t want to help. I had to take my own action & it had to be forced.Honestly felt like I was in a prison, as they would lock the gates all day & release us 5-10 minutes late like a mouse out of a trap. The 6 foot high fencing is unnecessary. The student services staff were always really rude & didn’t seem to truely care about a student’s mental health & wellbeing.One of the most memorable things was that a teacher locked our entire class in a hot building with no air circulation (no fans or aircon) on a 40+ degree day just because 2 students were playing up. The whole class shouldn’t have to be punished because of 2 students bad behaviour.Some teachers are lovely. But the bad ones outweighed the good ones. Looking back I developed quite alot of trauma from this school.

r/AITAMany memorable experiences!Once the principal was pushed into a bush.This other time this teacher sniffed out my slightly large stud earrings and chased me down at maximum velocity!Wednesdays are nice since we don't do any learning, so very entertaining. Also all the kids despise anyone slightly different and will take the first chance they get to absolutely ruin their mentality. TLDR: Amazing school, can't wait to leave!

Student Services staff suck, especially my girl, Li- (Ol' Blondie with the ponytail). Idk if she's okay, or.. but she's always fed up/in a mood, it really isn't the vibe I was hoping for when I come in late.They care WAY too much about grades and reputation instead of students mental health. If something happens in the toilets, they'll probs close all 4/5 again and have one monitored, which is a dumb move, or take the soap away again..Sad Julie the tuckshop lady left a couple years ago, the food at the cafeteria was amazing, now it just looks sad and depressing, especially since they took the chicken and gravy rolls off Flexis Schools. RIP!Teachers are okay, some need to leave because they're just not the nicest people and don't know how to teach properly. Also, a certain deputy". She absolutely sucks

I've never been to this school but I'm currently in 9th grade at another high school. All I here from NVSHS is toxicity and just basically horrible things. I live nearby and I can't even leave the house without seeing students from this school, visibly representing with their uniforms on, doing bad things and being bad people. DO better

this school was so bad my son came home crying everyday and wanting to end it due to Mr franks and his attitude toward the loving little children at Narang bar valley. The children shouldn't have to go through such torcher instead the teachers can focus on there education.
