I have read mixed reviews of this place so decided to have a look as we were out that way. Location is beautiful sitting on the edge of Smith's lake. The service was slow considering it wasn't that busy. I had the chicken burger which was average not a lot if flavour to my taste. My wife had the veggie burger which while to her liking in taste, it dripped oil and the bun dissolved under the moiture of the oil. Top marks for the chips they were great, well cooked and crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Food and flavour are a personal taste, so go and try for yourself, hopefully your review will be more positive then ours was.

Get to this cafe and support a local business. The coffee is great, food delicious, and the view is beautiful. The staff here are very friendly and care about you enjoying your experience with their business. Went with 8 friends and none of us had to wait too long for our coffee or our food. Will definitely go back when in the area again. Thanks ladies!

Frothy coffee have their signature forthy coffee which exceeds expectations. Friendly customer service and lovely staff. Ordered a chicken snitzel Burger with sweet potato chips. Could not of asked for a better tasting Burger. Presentation of food and waiting time was perfect.

Note: This review automatically attracts an extra star because of the fabulous location.We stopped in for a Sunday brunch. This area is starved for cafes and restaurants and I can tell why because it would be difficult to complete with Frothy Coffee. Literally, situated on the water, you have an uninterrupted view of Smiths Lake and access to casual hire of a boat or kayak. We shared a BLT and the bruschetta with poached eggs on sour dough with a frothy coffee and cappuccino. The venue was full (25 patrons) and we were served at our table in 10 minutes for a total price of $36.50. The only thing that could’ve been improved was the acidity in the bruschetta; a little under for my taste. If you’re holidaying or passing through, you should definitely stop in.

We loved this place for the food and the location on the lake.Arrived for brunch and it was their changeover menu but the cook was happy to take our orders in.The staff was very friendly and told us places we should visit.

Reviewed scoring as 2nd visit, totally different reception and experience.Friendly competent service, lots of tables overlooking the lake full of the full range of brunching customers, from preschoolers to retirees. Most clearing their plates. Excellent coffee, although no dogs allowed inside, a bucket of clean water brought out unprompted for our 2 thirsty pooches. Clearly it pays to visit mornings or early afternoons. Menu looked fine, all those brunching looked to have had decent platefuls.1st visit..We arrived at 15:45, the cafe was empty, the 'closed sign' by the door which was still open. Three teenaged girls clustered talking around the til. I asked are you closed?" Maybe the wrong question

I've always loved Frothy Coffee and was very happy to introduce it to two more visitors.You couldn't find a better setting, on the deck over the lake. The meals and coffee were excellent (Really big piece of fish!)Staff were welcoming and efficient.

Was very disappointed as we were made to feel unwelcome. By the looks of it while we were there, if you're not local, you're not welcome.I was very surprised to be told that there is no ice for iced coffee. Looks like this has been an issue for over 2 years.Don't advertise something if you can't provide the correct items.The location is ok, nothing to write home about.Came down here based on the reputation from others and left very disappointed. Certainly won't be back to this one

We were visiting Blueys beach and a friend suggested this cafe for food. What a discovery. The cafe is literally on a boat-shed in a quiet serene place. We had burger and coffee on a table overlooking the bay. Service was good, food are freshly made and served. We were around 1 and it was not overly crowded, however most of the tables were full. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating and has a toilet.Interested people can hire boat from here just behind the cafe to spend time on the bay.There is a small kids park and toilet. And plenty of car parking space.We will visit again if at that area.

Long-time institution in the Smiths Lake / Pacific Palms area - it’s been here for over 30 years. Perfectly situated right on the water’s edge it offers a range of meals and snacks in addition to the eponymous coffee. During holiday periods it provides boat rentals. Plenty of room on the adjoining reserve for kids to play.
