Bad customer services ever since they hired new worker there. Never listen to customer order & put whatever they want in your roll. The lady then argue & said it was all my faults when I tried to clarify what I wanted to have in my roll. I Have been a regular customer there for years as work nearby & convenient for me. Don’t get me wrong, The owner & the elder lady with glasses was very nice though. Not everyone in that shop is nice like them two

Slightly hidden away on Baptist Street beyond the end of the shops on Crown Street but we’ll worth crossing Cleveland to visit… very good trad Aussie sausage rolls, but the star is the roast pork Bahn mi… just go for it

Nice fresh bread, im a fan of the chicken roll. They are the best! Great value. Can't fault it. I've been to Vietnam and ate many real Banh Mi. In a nut shell, the rolls here are great for Sydney.

Most disappointing (and I might even go as far as to say disgusting) banh mi I’ve ever tried. The “Famous Traditional Pork Roll” had a slab of “steamed pork” that was literally 60-70% pure fat and inedible, with what was clearly the type of “pepper” you get in sachets (not the cracked black kind) concentrated on one end of the roll. Supposedly there was pate inside but I couldn’t spot the faintest sliver with my naked eye.The other comments praising the banh mi must either be sponsored reviews or posted by persons who have never before experienced the comparative delight of an even *mediocre* banh mi.Edit: an hour after eating the little that remained of the roll after disposing of its inedible contents, I now have a stomach ache. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Maaate, what a roll, first thing sundee morning I come across this place and they reveal to me the most immaculate pork roll I've ever laid eyes upon. Made by true Vietnamese pork roll mastery. Thank you fantastic

If you've had a banh mi from Marrickville, Bankstown or Cabramatta then don't order one from here.I'll be straight to the point.Roll is dry - stingy with pate and butterMeat is dry - cut too thin, and there's not enough to begin withRoast pork is charmless - if you're gonna sell roast pork, it needs the crackling skin, but I'm not even sure I received roast pork.Salad is overwhelming - all you can taste in the roll is pickled carrot and the bread. If you're gonna put a cucumber in you need a full quarter to have any impact. It's painstakingly obvious that corners are being cut. Covid did us all dirty. If you need to raise your prices then raise them. Good banh mi is worth it, especially for someone like me who's moved to the city and misses home food.

Old school Australiana pies and sausage rolls. As much as Bourke street bakery has become a cornerstone for surry hills barkeries.Sometimes you just want that old school Australiana pie and sausage roll, you used to get as a kid from the corner store (country kids you will know what I mean). For people who are wanting that, minus the eye-rolling wait lines. This is the place for you!The sausage rolls are thick, flavoursome and hefty; the perfect meal on the go.Then for the pies, my personal favourite being the cheese and bacon, it's just so dam good!Followed by the peppery chunky steak pie, which will take you back to the days when it’s 05:00 AM, as you get up to go to your first football match. You feel the cold sticking to you but then you have this pie and not help but feel a wave of warmth envelop you.Nostalgia will hit you here, at this killer little spot and if that doesn't try the banh mi.
