Gentle Dental Care Tahmoor

I have been seeing Gentle Dental Tahmoor for years .My recent experience was far from gentle an ordeal to say the least I had my regular checkup by my usual dentist he told me I needed a simple replacement filling (I had no pain ) he couldn’t do it as he was taking time off . The dentist who did my procedure gave me three needles to numb it three times he started to drill before it was numb ,the nurse suggested he ask Tony why it wouldn’t numb ? I have pain every time I eat or drink . I went back and had a X-ray the new dentist told me I had a void under the new filling but she was the only dentist on and didn’t have time to fix it and told me to give it a few days I returned with pain on examination it was not painful to bite so was told to give it a bit longer after a week I rang to say it was still painful when eating and drinking the receptionist rudely told me I have wasted enough of their time .Needless to say I don’t feel comfortable going back to have my tooth fixed .Very disappointing after years of good service .

One of the best dentists I've been to. Very friendly and helpful. The only dentist that has rang the next morning to see how I'm feeling after having a tooth removed!Highly recommend!!

Great dentist, with lots of dentists and dental hygienists to choose from.Extremely gentle. The best part is They also offer a twilight service were you can be knocked out while they extract teeth or if you just can't handle the pain or thought of any dentistry work.Great teeth whitening options as well.Wheelchair accessible parking and entry

I had quite a complex procedure done which was handled with a lot of care and professionalism.For someone who doesn’t like going to the dentist , the entire experience was made very comfortable.Thankyou.The support nurses were very helpful and supportive during the whole procedure also.Can certainly recommend this practice and Tony the dentist.

Such fantastic customer service from all staff and the dentist we seen. My toddler son had to attend in an emergency situation and everyone was absolutely amazing with helping me calm him as well as assist me with my newborn. So thankful and will definitely be returning for any and all future dental care. Thank you so much Gentle Dental Care Tahmoor.

Have always had huge anxiety associated with going to the dentist, had to have 2 of my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, (had my other 2 out months ago with the same dentist) and both times I don’t have 1 bad thing to say, they are so kind and so nice and I feel very comfortable under their care! While I was in the waiting room a mum came in with 2 young kids one seemed to have a bleeding tooth, both the young boy and the baby were crying and the mum looked very stressed and overwhelmed, the woman behind the reception desk bought out toys and drinks and helped the mother with her babies and It was just so nice to see, really kind people. they really go above and beyond, thanks gentle dental!

Completely lived up to their name!!I haven't had a comfortable or compassionate dental cleaning since I was a child. Not only was their technique gentle, but they were gentle *people*. If you avoid going to the dentist out of anxiety or avoidance of the inevitable guilt trip"

Not impressed. Booked in my family seven weeks in advance and they called two days beforehand to reschedule because the 'dentist wasn't available'. While rescheduling, they completely cancelled the booking altogether so on arrival was told we didn't have a booking. Had two appointments booked one after the other so after the stuff around had one and then had to come back two hours later for the second. Was then charged more for getting teeth cleaned, than another family member who had their teeth cleaned literally the day before. Booked in for a toothache which had subsided by the time the booking came around, but still wanted teeth checked. Dentist said because the booking wasn't specifically for a check up" he wouldn't take a look and would have to re-book. Bad experience for my family. Will be looking for a better practice next time."

The staff are so friendly and the dentist is so lovely and she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable the whole time checking if I was ok. I have had two implants done with them and several fillings and root canal. They always do a great job I always leave happy with the work they have done. I highly recommend them!!
