Pets at Peace Illawarra Pet Cremation

I am honestly just really disappointed. We said a very sudden and unexpected goodbye to our beloved 8 month old cat. We didn’t know what to expect, not having been through losing a pet before. It took over three weeks to be contacted, to which my husband was given one option - a silver urn. We didn’t know there were other options until after discussing our disappointment with a family member who is a local vet. My husband called back and was told that there was nothing else that could be done and if we wanted something different we would have to take the ashes out ourselves. We feel deeply disappointed by the process and advise everyone to do your research if this is your first time losing a pet.

So thankful to Rose and her team for looking after our baby girl. Not only did they go out of their way to cater to all of our requests for Lola's box, they kept us informed throughout the whole process, down to letting us know when they had our precious pup. It turned out beautiful and exactly how we wanted it. Thank you for looking after our baby girl x

Very compassionate and caring during the difficult time of losing your beloved pets. It was our first time cremating a pet, and the staff were beautiful. We recommend looking at the products on the website prior to making your arrangements - we chose a beautiful necklace with a small amount of our boy's ashes inside for my mum that she can cherish forever. Was not impressed with the rudeness of the receptionist when I called after 8 days wanting to know where my cat was and when I would get her ashes. They seemed more concerned with making the payment. Would not recommend.

A wonderful, kind and empathetic team. I went through an extremely traumatic experience with my beloved 20 month old pugalier Coco. I was treated with dignity and respect at every stage of the process. Every phone call was answered in a calming and welcoming manner (and there were many phone calls from me). I can't thank the team enough for helping me during this time. Coco is now at peace in heaven.
