James Reserve, in particular Heidelberg Eagles Soccer Club is well n truly iverdue for a full makeover.It's the pits!Yes, the council has finally installed several flood lights around soccer pitch so the kids and Seniors no longer have to train in the dark.Step 1 check ✔️ NB: Should have been done aaaaages ago! ie: when club started or shortly thereafter. Safety first ain't it?The Club currently has 4 mini rooms teams; 2 x under 7's, under 8's ans under 10's.Then there's the Seniors and the Reserves who have been drawing an ever increasing crowd every second weekend when play at home.Admittedly, it's embarrassing hosting other clubs at James Reserve.The toilet block is rank, uts disgusting! And freezing!!!The club rooms and canteen were built back in the day, I'm guestimating late 40's, early 50's. And you can tell.And there's a real lack of choice when it comes to food.Come on Banyule Council. Pull your ginger out and give the people a decent Soccer Club here in HH.We deserve it.
