This man is an expert in not picking up the phone, never returning my calls and leaving the car untouched at the same spot for 5 days.Finally we picked up the car (no appologies + a $100 bill) and brought it to a real mechanic in Humpty Doo who repaired the car in 2 days.

Worst experience I have ever had. Booked my car in and then had no communication what so ever. I phoned everyday for 4 days and no answer, I would sent text messages, leave voice mails, I even rocked up on day 3 and he wasn’t in his garage so told his offsider and left a message in his work note book (his bible apparently) and still no phone call. Finally visited his garage a week later and meet Mick and was told no work had been done on my car as they had forgotten about it. Not sure how that happened as my car was parked right in front of their service desk inside the work shop !! Very unprofessional I would highly not recommend!

Ruined my car and my TCC solenoid. Left a hose loose and took 5 days to fix the car. Barely answered the phone. Unbelievable

We arrived in Darwin recently with manual gearbox problems in our Nissan Patrol . The Nissan dealership said they could not help us with a replacement gearbox or repair but gave us Mick Taylor Automatics contact in Yarrawonga. Mick quickly diagnosed and ordered what parts were needed from NSW and sourced a clutch in Darwin. It was an expensive repair but Mick did a quality job. There was a few days wait due to a weekend and public holiday and for the parts to arrive from interstate but this company's service we can recommend to anyone who needs gearbox repairs in Darwin NT.

He never picked up the phone or answered my messages. After 3 days of waiting without any reaction and informations, we had to make our way to the workshop to ask what's going on with the Car. It looked really professional an I paid 1420$ without any invoice or something and the gearbox started to make trouble again after 3 weeks. So I tried to Call him, I send him a text and I left a voice message......unsecsessful
