Lewis Berger Park
This park was dedicated to Lewis Berger and his sons in 2016 for his dedication to his employees and the local community.Lewis Berger and his sons started manufacturing paint on the Rhodes Peninsula in 1916 at their manufacturing building after it was constructed during World War 1 and it was seen as a tribute to Australian industry.Burger was the first paint used on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and was used on the famous Southern Cross plane flown by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith in his non stop flight from United States of America to Australia in 1928.The Berger Honour Shrine is dedicated to those who served in World War 1.
