Malmsbury Bakery Café
A small treasure of a cafe bakery in Malmsbury. Beautiful courtyard garden in the shade with lots of outdoor seating available. Our dog was allowed with us outside too which was great! The coffee and pies were great and the table service was very friendly.

I used to go here years ago because the pies were so good. I went back today after 5 years and had the best steak and mushroom pie I’ve ever had! Amazing

Pies are a no go as the pastry is very doughy and way too overpriced. Vanilla slice were amazing and still good. Coffee was not drinkable and ended up in the bin.

Super friendly staff, very cute with all the baby blankets everywhere, nice coffee and gluten free tart. Cosy side room and courtyard with couch.

So disappointing. We used to travel from central Victoria for this bakery's breads and pastries. All the goods we purchased were overpriced, of poor quality and wait staff just complained how busy they were. The sausage roll was inedible. (At $7.50). Sausage meat resembled texture of canned chum dog food while their idea of potato bread, is white bread with some steamed potatoes mixed in. Won't be stopping there again.

Malmsbury Bakery Café
Their pies are awesome (really, they are). I've eaten a tonne of pies around Australia and I honestly haven't been impressed with any of them in the last 10 years, until now. Generous size, very nice pastry, real chunks of beef, not just full of gravy and fat like everyone elses. Can't comment on other food or coffee etc, I didn't have any.
