Telstra Maddington

Went to purchase a phone outright to be paid by credit card. I was then asked to produce valid ID and I responded why and how is it relevant. I don't want to be a Telstra customer and I absolutely don't want them to have my sensitive details. I was told by the inept salesperson it's just what Telstra do and couldn't tell me why. Anyway, purchased the phone from a competitor and although it was $37 dearer they threw in a case worth $49 which i needed anyway!! Still better off and they don't have me personal details. So screw you Telstra and your inept staff who really don't have a clue.

The person assisting solved both of my queries = good.Only 1 of the staff (of 4) wore any clothing that identified them as Telstra staff. 1 staff member was flippant about work and knock off time = not good.

Do not bother looking for help here.Checked closing time which is posted as 5pm on the actual Telstra website.Went to the store just before 430pm. Door was 3/4 closed. Stood just inside door and was ignored by all staff. Eventually said loudly “are you still open”. Was ignored by ALL staff and a customer who was seated said “no, apparently they close at 430”.All it would’ve taken for me to be satisfied was for the 1st staff member who looked at me (and then turned around and walked away) to say “sorry we’re closing” and this review would have been different.Accurate times on the Telstra website would also help.

Very quick service, walked in waited 10 minutes, got my products no issues in and pot. Best store by far

Not even 1 star i went there to get a plan and there’s this indian approached me. I was telling her what i need and she’s cutting me off also very really bad service!she’s not interested to what am I saying. Please update your crew

Worse than making a phone call to telstra, unhelpful staff, still having issues would like to change to Vodafone if they had the coverage

Manager on the day was very rude. Did not explain what he was doing to the phone which my elderly neighbour had had problems with ( hacked )Then downgraded her plan without asking which was going to cost her so many more $$ a month. Got quite put out when I requested that’s he change it back to the original agreementDidn’t speak just grunted or sighed like everything was to much troubleWon’t be doing business there again

Telstra shop sold me an apple 12 pro iPhone and its now not working and they agree its a problem with the phone, but they have to send it to apple to be fixed cant tell me how long it will take nor will they give me a replacement phone while its being fixed/repaired. I suggest you purchase straight from Apple as Telstra have no service back up plan.
