Delegate River Campground

This is a beautiful little campground, and was fully covered in bark and leaves when we visited. Probably about six official camping spots, with a number of official camp fire spots (with grills etc), and a few un-official spots. It has a standard long-drop toilet, and it is a short walk to the 'river' to collect water. While the road is very close (you can almost see it from the campsites), there were no cars passing during the evening or overnight, until mid-morning. The campground has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, with a lot of animal and bird life both during the day and at night (soo many bats at night - very inquisitive, they kept landing on our roof top tent, and trying to see what big animals were invading their space).

About 8 camp sites, fire places, long drop, and short walk through the forest. Not a lot to do around here, but a bit of spotlighting for gliders down Mustard Rd and smaller tracks is worthwhile. No phone coverage and very isolated, with no supplies in Bendoc.
