Great spot for relaxing near the water to read a book or just sit and enjoy the view. Can swim, can fish, no toilet. Can be very cramp if it's on popular holiday.

This is a bit rundown. People have dumped funiture here. Not sure why you would come here really except for kayaking or water sports. There are better spots to swim and fishing.

Just took the dogs for a walk down there, good to see people littering and not picking it up. Hills crossing was closed because of 4wd's, people littering and idiots cutting down the farmers fencing to go to more 4wd spots. I don't know if this place will close for the best but anyway this place is good I remember the old island that used to be in the middle of the river and the other side of the river was once Sandy!, Not very deep also.

Council needs to provide at least some bins so that rubbish can be disposed of instead of left to wash down the river. Not a cent is spent to make this a nicer place.

Lots of bogan art on the road, heaps of rubbish with scattered drug paraphernalia and human waste. Water was cool and refreshing.....
