Chitwan Taas and Momo House
Quite good for breakfast only !The breakfast buffet available between 10am and 1pm on weekends is quite good and well worth it. They make everything fresh including puri, tea, jalebi, peas.I have been having their breakfast buffet on average once every 1-2 months over the last 2-3 years and have still find it consistently good.Other than that, I have tried their menu items which I would say below average and not worth even trying.

The best food I ever had in sydney. Very authentic taste but I wonder Why there was so quiet. who ever are reading this If you are after authentic taste just visit this place.

Good food. Friendly service. We had the chicken Momo dumplings with sadheko sauce $14 and the Buff fry thaja set $15. They're great. Hot and spicy which went down well with a banana lasso drink $7. Would be nice to have access to a bathroom.

I was enticed by name “Chitwan Taas and Momo House” as I was particularly interested in “Taas” and had a high expectations but it failed to meet my expectation as “Taas” taste insipid or mediocre. And also momo was the same thing . Taste of chowin was good at first and when I re-order Chowmin taste was not same. They lack consistency.There was just one waitress working on busy Sunday and obviously she couldn’t look after all, this is something management need to look into.Good thing about them is they are not that expensive unlike other Nepali restaurant around the Auburn.At last I went to pay the bill and asked about bill but they don’t have system to print the bill and waitress wrote on blank paper and gave it to me. It was bit weird to see such a thing.Edit1: Chicken Chiola Khaja Set was good.This place is good for groupPayment:Both Cash and CardEdit 2: Now they got portable printer for receipt .

I went to have buffet. Omg the lady in the customer service, she even don’t know the meaning of politeness. How rude? All the dishes were almost finished and we were waiting to come up. It was almost 15 mins wait and we asked her is it coming? She was so angry and said just go and sit there, it will come. I was surprised. As being Nepali I don’t think she has to be that rude. And the most unbelievable part, I was looking for water and it was not there. I knew that If I ask the lady she will be rude. So I went myself to get the water but couldn’t find. So I ask her, she replied just go and get from that tap. Seriously, I have never experienced such worst customer service in my life. I talked to my friends about the experience there, what a surprise everyone was telling about the same rude behaviour of that lady. I am never going back there in my life. I won’t recommend this place. Worst experience ever.

Reminded me of Nepal when I saw the name. Went there with my family. I felt like the place was messy and dirty. Glass, plates, spoons and forks were a bit dirty. I don’t think we will be going back there again. For the food, we ordered Mutton taas, Momo, chowmein, khaja set and dahi puri. Taas, chowmein and khaja set was good. Puri from dahi puri was old. Two of my family members had stomachache after an hr or so.

Very casual dining - very affordable with some set dishes enough for one person coming in at around $12. First experience with Nepalese food and enjoyed very much. Although we were told the goat would be tough it was actually just slightly chewy, not in a bad way at all but absolutely delicious. Would definitely order again. Big portions, full of flavour and very cheap. Will return.

Chitwan Taas and Momo House
Delicious food and inexpensive menu, however there’s more room to improve in the customer service and the ambiance. We had a mutton taas which was very delicious, chicken momo was tasty too. However, chicken chow mein was a bit too salty and oily, but wasn’t too bad, that happens sometimes.
