I’m not local to Burpengary, but made the 20 minute drive to Burpengary Fruit Market to change things up a bit in my otherwise standard back to work/school Sunday routine.Beautiful quality produce, clean and tidy store and really friendly staff. There were no pre cut watermelons on display (I assume I arrived shortly after they had opened) so I asked at the counter if it was possible to have a quarter cut up for me. Nothing was an issue and the man who served me brought back two to choose from.I love supporting small local businesses and I will be returning every Sunday for my fruit and veg.Thankyou!

Great shop for food, there is one amazing staff member named Elijah, he helps customers every chance he gets and from what I've seen, him and the other workers keep the shop going.

First time shopping here, prices for apples was ridiculous considering the quality of the fruit, all of the apples were covered in heavy wax, after removing the wax and fake colouring to make the apples look shiny and fresh they looked absolutely disgusting, definitely not fresh fruit and won’t be returning here again. Do not recommend this market, if you all are after fresh fruit head down to the Caboolture markets Sunday mornings, unfortunately this particular Sunday the markets were shut so I had to seek out other options and was left very disappointed by the burpengary fruit market.

All the ginger in store was dried out or mouldy. Despite picking the best of what was available, the bag of potatoes I bought was very green, and there was a rotten onion amongst a bag. I'll drive the extra distance to lawnton fruit market next week

I was really excited to come support a local business until I saw how one of the staff treated another. One of the ladies at the register was talking to another so poorly. Kept yelling at her in front of customers and being so rude. I felt so sorry for the other lady who worked there. It made me very uncomfortable and not want to return. The produce I bought was great but if the staff can’t be nice to one another I won’t be returning.

Shopping for fruit for my 6 month old. I kept putting punnets back at the shop bc they all looked awful and bruised and went to get peaches instead and a worker insisted he would find me some ‘fresh strawberries’. I even said no thank you it’s okay, I’ll just grab some peaches. He insisted he would find me fresh strawberries. I’ve opened the pack a few hours later to find this. Absolutely disgusting.Have never had such foul looking strawberries beforeI couldn’t even rate this place 1 star from this experience alone. There were fruit flies all over the fruit as well. I can’t say I’ll be going back.

The quality of fruit and vegetables is horrible. They last 2 days at most. The lines are long and staff often look and will not serve despite lines growing longer and longer. Would not go back
