This place is the BEST!... most honest & reliable mechanic in the Northern Rivers. We've had a few 'mechanics' in the area servicing our Land Rover Discovery 4 & old 'work horse 'ute before- & been ripped off. I caught a mullumbimby mechanic trying to charge me for a replacement starter motor which he didn't actually replace. If you just want a good job done for a fair price - look no further that Billi Auto! Keep up the good work guys - word of mouth travels fast up here! Cant recommend highly enough!

This place almost never answers the phone, making it pretty difficult to book in. Then when you actually go there, they're booked out a month in advance (OK that's not really their fault). But today for the first time someone actually answered the phone and I said I needed a clutch replaced and they said they don't do clutches and referred me to a place 65km away! No idea how this place gets any good reviews.

After years of recommending billi auto to my family and friends it has now been taken over by new management... as a mechanic who has changed trades it is a shame to have now lost faith in this local business... after recommending that my friend bring his car here for simple repairs it blew up 30km down the road, a 9000$ Audi worth nothing but scrap now... a few pieces of the car were not reattached properly including a heater hose which leaked the coolant causing the catastrophic failure!!! the engine top cover was sitting on the passenger seat which is a good indicator that the job was not finished??? I understand mistakes are made and would forgive this however, upon approaching the management with my concerns I was greeted with a very hostile response... Paul (head mechanic) was willing to talk but his wife (business owner) was just nasty... I went with my friend as a person with mechanical knowledge because he doesn't understand how cars work and she said I had no right to be involved??? She then kicked me out of her shop saying I was a dic* head... I have never been kicked out of anywhere before not even a pub lol... on the bright side Paul and his team of workers are trying their best and there is room to improve, so I hope that other people in future don't have to suffer like my friend has...

Have been going to BilliAuto for many years,since about 1990. (Other than a time with Ford dealer where i had my new car serviced with dealership for 5year warranty,which was much dearer)BilliAutos have always done a good job on my private cars,my husband's car and a few vans that were given to us over the years. Have had everything from Laser,Telstar,Mazda,Ford Territory,RAV4,High Ace and VW vans inspected and worked on here. They tell you exactly the problem and search til they get it right.Have even sent visitors having car problems to them to ensure a safe journey home.The previous owner,Rob,and now Phil are courteous and honest.Their staff are great with apprentices and younger mechanics getting me to and from drop off,without a hitch.Highly recommend their work.
