Awesome atmosphere, great instructor. The kids love it, we love it, and everyone is supportive and friendly. Classes are tailored to your level, and Brian has a great focus on functional self defence skills. If you've ever thought about trying out BJJ, I would highly recommend Summit!

I've trained at a few clubs under several different black belts. What coach Brian does better than any other I've seen is provide context to his teaching. As opposed to the shut up and do the move I'm showing you today" approach. You really feel like you know WHY he is teaching what's being taught.He's also managed to cultivate a fantastic culture

Amazing easy-going culture that has been carefully fostered by head coach Brian. Training partners are great, technique is taught in a logical, structured way with considerations for the self-defense aspects of applying them in a real-world situation.

I have been a team member at Summit Jiu Jitsu for 7 momths and really enjoy the atmosphere and club culture. Brian is a fantastic coach who is able to train and cater to all experience levels. I really like how Brian structures his classes by focusing on Gracie Jiu-jitsu self defence and also sports jiu-jitsu, he is also able to blend his knowledge of other martial arts into lessons.My daughter has also recently started doing the kids jiu-jitsu classes with Brian and loves going each week, learning in a fun and structured environment. Brian is really able to relate well with the kids by teaching the techniques in fun ways that they will retain.

Summit is a fantastic place to learn and train Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Head Coach, Brian, is not only an excellent grappler and a nice guy with an extensive knowledge of the art, he has that even rarer skill of being an excellent teacher. Great people, great vibes and excellent coach. Brian gives you solid training that's comprehensive and considers longevity in BJJ. You get to understand the mechanics and learn how moves flow into others. They've got a range of classes and even started up a great self defence class on Wednesdays with another great instructor Cam. Make sure you check this gym out, you won't regret it!
