I was incarcerated in this dire institution in the 1970’s. Worst 6 years of my life, not just bullied by other kids in my year, but by the teachers as well. I’m still surprised I survived the ordeal. Sorry, but High School is DEFINITELY not “the best years of your life”, unless you’re one of the surfie spunks or their tough chicks. I’m sure there are many like me.

Port Hacking High School is one of the largest secondary comprehensive schools in the Sutherland District and is known for its academic, student leadership, performing arts and sporting achievements. The school attracts students from St George and Sutherland areas. Demand for places is high and there are waiting lists for most years. Port Hacking provides a stimulating and caring environment which produces young adults who have the intelligence, the skills, the confidence, and the moral values to make the right choices in their lives.
