Perfect spot to go with the family for a walk. Good distance for kids 4+.The whole track is a fire trail.It’s about 1.65km to the water at -5% 84m.The loop is 5.7km.Good track trail runners. Many trials of the track.

A great place to get into nature. The walk is easy getting, steeper coming back, could be a bit of a slog for the unfit or elderly. Well worth the walk.

Nice spot. I've seen lots of families here playing with their kids. Groups of cyclists stopping for a rest. Hikers taking a well earned break. It's a lovely rest stop. Some good wildlife spotting too. Plenty of Lace Monitor and birds.

On Monday late morning it was so peaceful, nobody else was there - unlike how it's on weekends. Due to recent rains, I couldn't cross to the other side without getting shoes wet. Something to consider if you plan on continuing the walk further.

Very easy to find if you stay on trail. For the more adventurous, there are many unmarked trails to do.

Great for a leisurely mountain bike or hike. Just be aware the trail back to Acron oval is quite steep. Either way, it's worth all the serenity, beautiful Aussie nature, and the actual cascades are peaceful and beautiful. You will likely have to bike or cross a couple of foot-high creeks so have appropriate shoes. A great escape from the city around it.
