When we chose James as our wedding photographer, we knew we were in good hands. However, when we saw our own wedding pictures, we were absolutely blown away. We loved them all! James captured the essence of our wedding so well - the laughs, smiles and emotions. Our location shoot was beautiful and artistic. James is a brilliant photographer and is professional, easy going and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!!

What do i recommend about James Harvie?Perhaps his extreme attention to detail. His professionalism. His easy going personality. He asks for no silly poses. He's willingness to run off into the distance just so he can look back and get that long scenic shot. His passion shines through in not only his demeanor but his photos too. Anyone can see he loves what he does and takes pride in it.When i first saw him on my wedding day he was wearing a single knee pad and thats when i knew he meant business! This was a guy who was willing to lay on the ground in wet grass to get that perfect shot!His prices are reasonable and not ridiculously stupid.If your still looking for an awesome wedding photographer, look no further! James captured the day perfectly! I was so happy that he was able to photograph the day for my parents, initially I was unsure that the 'small intimate Wedding ceremony' was too limited for such a reputable photographer, however he was more than happy to oblige. We met at the Registry Office in Melbourne and walked to the nearby parks, he made them feel relaxed and comfortable- capturing some awesome shots and having a laugh along the way. They couldn't be happier with the results! Would definitely recommend.

We love James and his work! He was so flexible with the way our wedding unfolded (we ended up with a surprise wedding) and was able to provide sound advice. The photos we have are of outstanding quality! We just love looking through our photos and wedding album! Those that look through the photos comment on the quality and how wonderfully intimate and thoughtful they are.If we had to do it all again, we would pick James for sure!

Absolutely delighted with our beautiful wedding photos. James was great to deal with. My teenage daughter has had her first Digital SLR for about 6 months so I booked her into the beginners course run over two evenings. Really great, I wanted her to get some one on one guidance on how to really use the camera and its settings well , understand the gear more, and think more about taking good photos. In short she had a great experience and I'm sure we'll be back for other courses & training as time goes. Recommended if you want to do more than just point & shoot in Auto.

We were extremely pleased with James Professionalism and his ability to record our wedding day (5.05.18) without being intrusive. We had a Gatsby themed Wedding and James happily agreed to dress accordingly. He suggested some Melbourne locations for an external shoot as well.James was able to relax our guests so that we have many splendid candid shots to look back on.We were so impressed with the package options available. James spent many hours helping us arrange our photos in an Album of our own choice to record our Special Day. Final details were arranged by a Skype link and we are thrilled with the end result.
