It was very busy but the food was brought out in a timely fashion. Kids meals came out first, which was appreciated. Great serving sizes and great tasting food. Kids meals include a bowl of ice cream. There are not many inside tables, so I’d suggest making a reservation if you want to eat inside. The outdoor area is spacious, with a large undercover area decorated with huge chandeliers and tonight (Saturday) there was live music.

We went out for lunch, and found this beautiful pub, on the edge of Hinton. We had a look inside and bit, I'm glad I did ! The tables were spread out, the rooms were spacious, and they had a massive barn-style function room! It's just perfect.

Lovely staff and food, unfortunately, they were fairly inflexible when it came to our reception. I'll still be dropping g by for the odd beer, though. Reception booked elsewhere and couldn't be happier.

Two basic style meals were fine.Two people ordered pork knuckle and were bitterly disappointed.No crackling (just chewy flesh) ,meat so dry you couldn't eat them.Waitress informed and totally disinterested she then spent rest of evening scowling at us from behind register,eventually compelled us to leave.Pity, we always strongly endorse supporting our local businesses but not with this kind of service.P.S. Bar staff were terrific .

This pub was suggested to us for dinner over others in the area, The service was great and the food was decent for a local pub. I had the creamy garlic prawns but it was a little flavourless and definitely needed some extra seasoning. Grace given to the fact that it was quite late on a Monday night so the chef was possibly ready to go home already.
