One of the best places not far from Sydney to really relax or go fishing or whatever you like .There are numerous holes & reefs particularly between Milson Island to Juno Point . Big jewfish & bream are the best expectations but there are many more species within the river . Boat & land based fishing and heaps of isolated beaches along the shores can be found easily .

So peaceful and serene. You can hear so many different bird species chirping. Nearby Wisemans Ferry is a trendy little village with an excellent restaurant, golf resort, park and tennis courts. You can explore valleys with farms and orchards and another trendy destination at St Albans, which has a historic stone pub with memorabilia and great pub food.

Beautiful river system, tranquil and serene environment. Easy escape from the rat race. Photos don't do it justice, you have to see it to believe it. Apparently there's a few fish there too...

I found this amazing camp site right on the Hawkesbury River near Wisemans Ferry. It sits on 350 acres of beautiful private land, the views are stunning, and the fishing is even better. It's only an hour and half from Sydney but it feels like another world when your there. My favourite thing about this camp site is the peace and quiet, you literally don't see another sole after you arrive, BRILLIANT. Check this paradise out if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Man, how did the cancer potatos from loot lake (brisbane river) get down here. Great. Now my adopted german child has stage 4 cancer after eating the potato. Aside from that the mutated fish taste pretty good at the resurants.
