Lovely spot. So children friendly. Around the corner there is free ferry service to Hobart. Beautiful walking paths. With some really stunning houses and architecture to admire. Lovely village like vibe.

My favourite beach. Shallow enough for the kids and deep enough for the adults. There is a bit of shade if you wander along the beach to find it and a big park and BBQ area for a nice gathering of your favourite souls. Also a fish n' chip shop right on the corner. A very family friendly beach.

The current location (as at 15 July 2020) of this point of interest (Bellerive beach) is incorrect. Bellerive Beach is the large beach near Blundstone Area.The photos are correct but the location is wrong

Love this part of Bellerive Beach, opposite Lower River Road. It has the rock pools on the far left where you can see a lot of mussels and other mollusks like chitons. We also like watching the sea gulls hunt for food on the shallow waters or on the rock pools themselves. It is a part of this beach that is not very frequented even by locals, since it was summer, still overcast but not overly cold or hot, the rock surfaces were not wet and slippery so it was fun exploring to see what we could find there.

One of the best beaches in Hobart, with playground, picnic area, BBQ, outdoor gym, fish and chip cafe and a beautiful sandy beach, with spectacular views.
