Stopping in here for a talk and look around was the highlight of my trip to Marble bar - thank you so much to Gerard! It’s an amazing opportunity for people of my generation to get a look into life in the past.. Lots of stories of people & projects of the regions and an insight into the minerals and mining of the region.

A very fun time lots of information about the Goldmines history ,a shame the mine isn'trenovated so we could walk through a most historic mine .,Ww1 airfields ,alot I wasn't aware of concerning the war ,a place to visit for people interested in the war air fields and Marblebars involvement, incredible amount of information.

This is not a tour of the mine but you can hear some great history at the museum overlooking the mine. It also has plenty of interesting artifacts and photos.
