Worst experience and still no answer!My husband made a review regarding a faulty Anita chair that was packed already damaged and so broke, a month ago and we are still awaiting a response from the Customer Service team.As a business, you can’t expect a customer who went through all the right steps to advise of a genuine faulty product, to then tell them that the over $300 chair would need to be taken to a repairer ourselves (2 hours away) and repaired at our own cost because it was their ‘belief’ it wasn’t sent to us faulty. Disgraceful Nick Scali, this is why your customer service reputation sits on a low scale.

One star. Would give nil if available. Bought a buffet. Delivery time changed 3 times and they were still late. When the crate was unpacked the unit was completely unstable and therefore dangerous. Delivery contractors rang nick scali outlet and were told to repackage the unit and return it to Melbourne. I asked about my refund and was told head office did that. I waited 3 working days and contacted head office only to be told that they knew nothing about the return, so I rang the outlet who told me head office had been told. So I rang them again and they confirmed they knew nothing about the return.I am STILL WAITING for my refund. I was dealing with the Hobart outlet.Will never go there again.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISKWe ordered 4 Anita chairs for our new dining table and one arrived with a manufactured split in the base of one of the legs. Once sat on the first time the chair snapped. For a $369 chair we asked customer service for a replacement. They pushed back and refused to honour the policy saying we should have unpacked and checked it all at the warehouse. This was not possible as we had a delivery driver take our items to the upper east coast. Nic Scali chose to blame the delivery driver for the manufactured defect.They could have done the right thing but chose not to.Never again.

When we ordered, we paid in full and were told to expect a 16 week wait.... that was 22 weeks ago. We were then called to advise us that the couch would be delivered on 23rd December. On this advice, we sold our existing lounge. When we didn't hear anything further we called them, and were told delivery won't be until 14th Jan. We now get to host family Christmas with no couches, and these useless lumps won't do a thing to help us/compensate us. Horrific buying experience. Avoid at all costs

* Edit. Cut and paste generic response via Google, asking me to email 'concerns'. My 'complaints' are very clearly written in the review. Not good enough- another star deducted.Pleasant enough experience with Ali and the team at Cambridge- except for two issues. Firstly, the 'compulsory delivery cost. One is not allowed to pick up their own furniture if they Although written on the store price tickets, it is in small print, and was not mentioned by the sales person until sales finalisation. I understand the motivation of this regarding OH and S, staffing challenges, potential damage claims et al. However this charge should either we included (and a remote area fee added if required) or explained as early on as possible during the sales process. $110 additional on a couch for $1390 isn't acceptable without forewarning/negotiation.Secondly, look carefully at your sales contract amd check your delivered goods very very carefully. Under warranty exclusions 6.4, you will see that the customer is liable for any transport to/from the repai agent or replacement delivery costs".Furthermore

Nick Scali this has been the absolutely worst purchasing experience of my entire life. 1 couch promised to take no more than 3 months... took a year. Don't ever shop here, I was warned not to but did anyway, worst decision I ever made...... the delivery company was great though.

We had a very pleasant experience with nick scali, we went in numerous times having trouble deciding, the sales team didn't push or rush us to make a decision which was great! Ordered our furniture in advanced and had no problems with delivery times we were told 16 weeks and furniture arrived on time and delivery couriers were friendly and professional. Special thanks to Ali and Derrick at Cambridge store.

Exceptional furniture in leather and material, plus a variety of colours to suit every home. They have a clearance area so you may even pick up a bargain. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the store is well presented.

the one star is for the delivery service - for $125 delivery fee you would expect they would take the rubbish with them but they did not.EDIT [02/05/2022]:Thank you Nick Scali for the response below, unfortunately this was not communicated to us when we bought the lounge and ottoman. We were only advised to pay the extra fee upon delivery.Our expectations were based from our recent Harvey Norman purchase which has a delivery fee of $50 (for a fridge) that covers the delivery, unpacking, setup, and removals of packaging materials. Therefore we were shocked that we paid almost 3x of that with Nick Scali and we were left with all the packaging materials.
