Our Dad worked at Gove for a year in early 70s. Pa died in 1988, aged 63. Mum always told us lot that Nhullumby was where our Dad really found his spirit.The plan for us NOAKES is to return both Vene and Pa's ashes to Gove, July 2020Can't wait!!!Hey it only took 32 years but who's counting? You're a long time dead!

I lived and worked here in 1969,on the NABALCO site being built to process the bauxite,very basic,I printed all the blue prints for workmen to build,very hot,but an incredible place,what an experience.

Gove is a beautiful quite place with nice beaches, I was there in 2008 and make alot of acquintances with so many friendly people, I like the library the rotary club events, walkabou lodge and the Downtown oneday I hope to comeback
