Bexley Aquatic Swim School

Not very friendly for children and families, the children 's swimming area is too tinny, and nothing can play with. Customer service is rude and bossy. Friday and Thursday lifesaver is always judging people, speaking harshly and being grumpy. During the kids' lesson, parents all have to force sit in a small bench chair area, plus the ventilation system is lousy; the inside is hot and humid. This space should not be granted as a public swimming pool; only suitable for community use.

Terrible customer service by these two girls on Monday night. I enrolled in blue fit but I normally take my girl for a swim on another day, but they keep asking you if you are enrolled in another school, I told them I am not I am just here for swim. Keeping asking the same question, very insulting and outrageous, I think your staff need better training then that otherwise you will lose all your royalty customer by the end!

Very bad policy. I had reported my Covid positive situation to them and requested politely to hold my son's class as soon as I got my record to save the community from getting it. But they refused to do so as I called them 1.30 mins before. They said I should called them earlier but how can anyone cancel the class before knowing the test result . They kept charging me for last 2 weeks.

Customer service does not exist and giving only 1 week notice with relocation and expect families to just be ok with it. The service team show no empathy or give flexibility around make up lessons and won't even provide any refund. Obviously customer satisfaction is not a priority.

I don't know whose fault it is or who started a war with Bayside council.But quitting the job of managing a public swimming pool with little notice is irresponsible.And turning down heating of pool in middle of winter to penalize those who can not follow them to other facilities is outrageous.

Just received an email that my child's swimming lesson is being relocated to Hurstville with 1 weeks notice. This is hardly ideal give it is not close and the facilities at Hursville are terrible. Bluefit has long waiting lists for any class, age or facility. I enrolled at Bexley and had to switch to Hurstville at 12 months because there were no spots at Bexley. I had to wait 9 months to get any spot back at Bexley.

I’m not the type of person to comment on bad reviews, but this one has really frustrated me. What a poor customer experience! Something that must be worked on. I have twin boys, which have been on a waiting list for 1.5 years, they are now 2 years of age. Finally I get a call up to start swimming lessons, but my boys are both having an operation in the next few weeks which won’t allow them to swim for 2 months, so I saw no point in paying for 2 months of non attendance. I had asked the lady to skip our position this round and offer it to someone else, then by the next opening the boys will be ready. Apparently that was too difficult, and had to be taken off the list, and call back in 2 months to re add them to the bottom of the wait list again, where I could wait another 1.5 years before I get a position again. Are they for real! There was no, sorry Sir I hope your boys are okay, and the operation is nothing serious, or yes sir we will call again next opening , and offer it to the next person down the list. Sorry but this was a very poor customer experience. There is no way I’d take my kids there . My kids will be in high school by the time they offered a lesson according to there rules and regulations. Terrible! There was no common sense with this situation.

Be warned of a tall Caucasian very tall gentleman with sunnies (indoors and at 7 pm where there is no sun) and apparently 2 granddaughters ( who continually called us disgusting the same as their grandfather) in Angelo Anestis aquatic centre in Bexley around 7 pm.Last Tuesday very offensive to me and my 2 children in the family showers yelling that we were disgusting whilst showering my kids.No respect whatsoever to me either my children or to the duty manager of the facility. He walked out of the facility shouting very disrespectful!Called management twice the followed two days with no luck as the managers have left for the day and on the 3 rd day spoke to a manager who rushed over the phone showing no interest on keeping us in the swim school, either aware of the incident report I did fill out.Plus regarding swimming lessons keeping a child 9 months in the same level always picking on the same area that needs to improve in the skills shows no interest whatsoever in the child improvement by the swim school instructors either. Very disappointing after coming to this facility for the past 2 years.

Had called the head office for assistance to help book a make-up class unfortunately, the representative did not want to listen and just repeated the words refresh the page. After tirelessly going around in circles with the representative who did not want to understand, I ended the call with no make up class and lost money. Very disappointing as branches cannot take call, as they are not equipped with phones. Staff at branches have no idea what is going on and this makes it even harder.
