Tahbilk - Cellar Door

This was our first visit to Tahbilk and we had an outstanding wine tasting and dining experience.. Our wine tasting was scheduled an hour prior to the lunch booking. We arrived on time and were given one of the outdoor tasting tables overlooking the Goulburn River. Lyn took us through a tasting of all the scheduled wines plus some extras reflecting our particular interests. There is a good range of wines. Lyn was very informative and helpful. We finished with just sufficient time to walk across to the restaurant. I particularly like the Museum Release Marsanne, the Marsanne blend and the Verdelho. Amongst the reds, I particularly liked the Museum Release Cav Sav and the Old Vines Cab Shiraz. We left with a box of wines. The lunch was excellent. Service was very timely, friendly and helpful. We loved the slow cooked lamb and the barramundi. Our table was outside with a beautiful view of the lagoon. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful old winery , with some amazing wines.

An excellent cellar door experience with knowledgeable and attentive staff who made an effort to explain Tahbilk's history and current offerings - with generous tastings available. We enjoyed the historical displays and seeing the cellar area downstairs and also had a delicious lunch at the restaurant.

Like travelling back in time, historic winery & vineyard Tahbilk, homes the oldest grapes in Victoria’s Nagambie wine region, set on the banks of the Goulburn river.Worth a tasting and a look around and a step into the cellars down below.The Marsanne has always been a favourite of mine & it remains a winner in the lineup of wines on offer.

Fabulous experience! Wine tasting overlooking the Goulburn river in a beautiful old cellar! Staff were super friendly, like old friends showing you the best of their home.And the reds... big, bold and smooth!!!I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful old winery that has existed since the 1800s. The wine is absolutely fantastic and great value for money. It was really nice walking around the property too. The old wine cellars were really impressive.

Stopped in to do a quick tasting and ended up walking out with a mixed case of our favorite goodies. Michael looked after us and we cannot recommend him highly enough! Would love to come back and explore more, as we were on a bit of a time constraint. Beautiful place, beautiful wine and beautiful people

2nd wiry of the day, it’s big and staying in old-school looking, surprising they have the white wine that you can age, long it’s age, darker it’ll be, flavour were totally different too.When you’re here, pay.
