It is just a multiple span concrete box-girder bridge, which carries traffic on the Princes Highway/SE Freeway accross the Murray River. It does that job satisfactorily, as expected.Strong crosswinds can affect the bridge at times, and may only become apparent once on the bridge. Due to the absence of any hard shoulder, this can be dangerous, so pay attention to the windsocks at each end.It is only suitable for vehicles, due to the absence of a hard shoulder or paths. Bicycles and pedestrians should use the upstream bridge in the town centre.The speed limit on both approaches is 110km/h, but the bridge itself is only 80km/h. (Correct as of September 2022, always follow the posted speed limit)

It's a blasted bridge over the River Murray for cars etc with a maximum of 80kph - stop saying its a tourist destination.
