Music too loud and this establishment has no consideration for other people who are staying in neighboring hotels. Had to ring local police station to complain about noise. Bad publicity for Tamworth. Poor management of premises.

Great venue. Easily fits 100+ people, with a huge outdoor area and great stage set up. Amazing separation of sound, with a soulful acoustic girl out front and huge rock/country out back. No bleed through of the sound from one band to the other. The building lends itself to great acoustic sound proofing. Good food and drinks and lovely staff. Will be back!

The bar to the entertainment area was accepting cash only which is ridiculous in 2018. I, like a shitload of other people don't carry cash ever and shouldn't have to go and use an ATM with ridiculous fees to buy a beer at a pub.

Really regret staying here during Tamworth country music festival. Room was stinking hot. Woke up throughout the night almost gasping for air. Had to shower throughout the night to cool down. Really uncivilised. I was tired the whole festival. Giving one star is too much. $100 per night for single room, shared facilities and no aircon ( imagine third floor of an old pub, it was an oven!) Only plus is young bar staff are friendly and do everything to help, despite clearly not being trained and improvising as they go.

We booked for 6 nights for the music Festival which was $800, this was way overpriced for what you get! The room had 2 single beds which is what we wanted, had a bar fridge and a dirty and stained basin. No mirrors and no air conditioning!!! Given how hot it get in Tamworth to have no aircon is insane, luckily we brought a portable one. Not only did we have to used shared toilets and shower, the ladies only had 1 shower which only had a curtain and no door. Where the vanity was there is no power point for hair dryers, and the toilets need to be replaced, they are stained and don’t flush properly. However the men’s toilet has 2 shower both with lockable doors, even the cleaner told me to just to the men’s showers and that it didn’t matter because a lot of women do. The carpet in the main bar needs replacing as well. Would recommend to have a drink and watch the bands but definitely not to stay here for accommodation. Given how much they would make during the period surely they can invest in some upgrades.

The only reason why i am giving them 1 star is because i cant give them a zero. This hotel has NO consideration for other people trying to sleep in neighbouring hotels. I've had to ring the police to shut down the music. They should be permanently shut down.Appaling attitude.

Staff excellent however, driving through and needing a place to stay we thought a hotel room at the pub would be a cheaper option. I should have seen the writing on the wall, they were renovating. As I was not in the head space to look around I got room. A twin share room was $136 and for that we got a two beds a fan and one PowerPoint and a common shower that only had cold water maybe I set my expectations to high. After traveling around we that stayed at other hotels for less money but they had better amenities. I have no idea what there demographic are for stay accommodation is going to be, but it’s not us. Please finish renovating first before using. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wonderful modern renovations are in progress. Updated so, that the place looks like it’s been pulled straight out of Sydney’s North Shore, Central Newcastle’s modern hub or the East side of Brisbane city. With events held every weekend, the venue caters to all ages and tastes. They have a side car park and a free bus for groups you can call to pick you up instead of driving in.You can get breakfast & lunch in the trendy front cafe and then pizza & pasta in the large Courtyard. They have the only nightclub in Tamworth and an upstairs bar with so much variety, I had to let the bartender decide for me which brand vodka to use in my cocktail. Upstairs has free pool & darts (I haven’t seen darts set up since Geelong Vic)The venue is under new management and Undergoing intense renovations. Highly recommend!
