Little Beach Reserve
For parents with young kids, and not too keen on waves, this beach is awesome. You can let the kids enjoy as much they want and just chill on the sands or the green. Lot of space for big crowd and parking isn’t too hard even on a busy day (we send during summer school holidays)

Little Beach Reserve
A great small beach in Nelson bay for young children. There are no waves which is perfect for kids who aren’t strong swimmers. Even though the weather wasn’t the best for visiting the beach we still had a nice time.

Little Beach Reserve
This is a fantastic beach, a local favourite for picnics, especially at sunsets. Also some fishing here and a boat ramp at the end where the pelicans hang out.Not an ocean facing beach so no big waves which is nice for the kids. The grass area is really nice for picnics and BBQs. There are also good shower and toilet facilities and a gas BBQ. Quite a bit of parking too. Also a nice childrens’ play area. Just up from the beach is a great local fav restaurant and bar (Little Beach Boat House) which is an awesome venue.Sunsets are awesome for 2 reasons. The sunset itself is beautiful and you’d be pretty unlucky if you don’t spot the local dolphins.

A perfect spot with plenty of trees for shade and a grassy area or the sand close to the water and a shark proof net in the clear pristine waters and public toilets to shower and change your clothing. We will return to this pretty spot

What a perfect little spot for a day/evening with family and friends.Cool clear water, no waves, watching the people go by and the boats come in.Stick around until sunset and as these photos show, you will not be disappointed.Great spot ☺️

Perfect for little kids. Netted area. Shallow water. A place to jump for older kids on the other side of the ramp. BBQ available. Toilets nearby.

This is a great beach for families. There's a swimming net in the wall around its wheelchair accessibly with ramp going into the water.

Little Beach Reserve
Beautiful place (like so many in the area) but one of the most dog-unfriendly municipalities we've ever encountered. Not only very few off-lead dog beaches in the area, but most of the beaches (and a few parks) don't allow dog walking on leash at any time.
