Recently hired some speakers, a subwoofer, a lighting rig and a smoke machine from these guys and for the price we paid the equipment was such high quality. The smoke machine was an excellent addition to the night. I cannot get over how loud the speakers got and we only ended up getting them up to halfway over the course of the night. Even the cables provided were very high quality. When we went to pick everything up the staff had all of our equipment laid out, showed us it all worked and how to use it, and the gave us a hand loading it in the ute. Highly recommend BJ's

First time I ever hired speakers. Quick and easy pick up and drop off. Super easy to set up, staff very helpful. Will definitely be coming back for my next event/ party :)

Not sure really how to feel about my experience at BJ's. On one had we got good quality speakers for an event at a very reasonable price but on the other hand it was like dealing with a business from the stone age. Staff were slow, not interested and everything felt like a burden to them The process of actually picking up your stuff was painful. Would be good to get all the paper work like ID and what not done before you get there so people aren't waiting 30 mins to be served. Might come back in the future but might try somewhere else as well.

Have been provided service and products by BJs since 1997. Brad has set up a great team over the years, and has grown from 1 small room in Brisbane to taking over 3 sections of where they are located at Fortitude Valley, to extending at the Gold Coast centre. Any audio, PA, or Lighting setups, hire to a purchase, BJs sound and lighting is a core to service with products you can rely upon.

Do not use these guys. Can’t even organise basic sound for our daughters school fete. 100s of kids and parents stuck standing in the sun for over an hour while they try to figure out how plug in a simple microphone. The whole show is now running late and everybody is extremely disappointed. Very unprofessional.

Hired some confetti cannons for our baby gender reveal, the staff were very helpful and the hire process was very easy, they they worked great. I have used BJs for many years and would highly recommend them. Sybren and staff are always accommodating :)
