Branch and Sea

In 2019, I had purchased a dried floral wreath from Branch and Sea around Christmas time, Annie was donating 50% of proceeds from each wreath sold to Red Cross Australia to help communities devastated by bushfire. We adore the wreath which still sparks so much joy in our home – it was lovingly created with a delicate and whimsical flair, Annie put so much care into the wrapping and delivery as well, and with her compassionate nature and mutual respect for animals and the environment, we knew she would be the perfect florist for our wedding, who I would trust whole-heartedly in freely creating something beautiful for our special day.Using the most stunning local, in-season fresh and dried flowers and foliage in a rich autumnal colour palette, Annie intuitively brought our ‘Native and English’ floral dreams to life (honestly the most beautiful ranunculus I’ve ever seen!) We wanted our floral installation to frame us on our wedding ceremony deck, Annie exceeded our vision – the flowers perfectly complimented the natural scenery of our venue and colour palette, and cradled us both within our ceremony space like a warm hug. It was also important to us to have some dried yellow craspedia, commonly known as Billy Buttons, (that my partner - now husband - gifted me on one of our earliest dates) with us on our wedding day. Annie was wonderful and was more than happy to incorporate some of the Billy Buttons into my bouquet, groom’s buttonhole, and a few in our ceremony installation; seeing them on the day made my heart burst with gratitude.Annie is such a kind, genuine and welcoming person, who is clearly so passionate about each floral piece she creates. Annie created absolutely gorgeous florals for our wedding which completely elevated the overall aesthetic of our ceremony and reception. Annie was wonderful to work with and was able to put together a colour palette which matched both of our venues and other decorations when I didn't have a clear idea for the colour scheme of the flowers. Professional, responsive, and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Annie for my wedding this year. From the conception of our mood board, to colour scheme and sourcing, Annie was passionate and genuine in her work.I had an idea of what look I was going for (Japanese inspired florals for a Japanese venue) and Annie brought my vision to life so beautifully. Working with Annie from Branch and Sea on florals was one of my favourite experiences from my entire wedding. I went in with absolutely zero idea of what I wanted and Annie so kindly and patiently walked me through every single step, making each decision personal and special. From our beautiful welcome arbor, my stunning bouquet, ceremony installation to path markers and gorgeous table pieces. Annie’s insane talent, attention to detail and commitment to sustainability were what drew my husband and I to work with her in the first place, and to say she went above and beyond is an understatement.
