My daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (Blood Cancer) in May 2020 and a few days later we were introduced to RedKite through our Social Worker. From there we received a whole range of practical, emotional and financial support from Redkite during the darkest time of our lives which we are incredibly grateful for.From the hospital bag containing an amazing collection of essentials you need when you suddenly find yourself living in hospital; to financial support to pay for groceries, petrol and utilities; as well as access to professional counsellors and social workers, Redkite do an amazing job of supporting families like ours who are going through unimaginable turmoil.Thank you to everyone at Redkite who goes above and beyond to help families facing childhood cancer - you make a real difference and one we will always be so grateful for.

I am a cancer sufferer myself with two cancers diagnosed in 2003 and 2007. I admit I have no concept of the depth of suffering felt by Brooke's parents. To be clear, I have no problem with the basic aims of this organisation.Today I received a red envelope in the mail with no labelling as to who it was from but with my name and address. As I had recently ordered a Tshirt and the parcel was soft I wondered if it was from the same company so I opened it.In it there were a number of items such as socks and cards which must have cost quite a bit plus postage. A letter asked that I send $35. No opportunity to send these things back. So emotional blackmail!I have never supplied my name and address so clearly you have purchased it from some dodgy company. Your entire marketing strategy is disgusting and does not do credit to your organisation.I will not be supporting it.

When our son was diagnosed with brain tumours in 2015 I did not comprehend what Redkite did for families. The scope of their work and support is broad and deep. From financial support for every day expenses to staff in hospitals and bags for families. 6 years later we're still connected and value their work and support. Thank you.
