Had a very nice quiet stay, room was clean, comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep. Even had a great meal from the Chinese restaurant that many folks here have criticised. The honey chicken was super nice, sweet and sour pork was okay, fried rice was good. Large helpings.

This has to be the greatest pub in Queensland, thanks to Erin, Brittany and the rest of the staff for there hospitality and customer service. I’d recommend this pub to anyone. Yours sincerely Bo the greatest Bears player ever. xo

Had a great laugh here last night. The young lady behind the bar bantered with all the patrons. Also Frenchies first night behind the bar did a great job as well.

Waited an hour and a half for my meal, big meals, but nothing was good, garlic bread was just burnt bread with a hint of garlic, and the steak was tough and pepper gravy just taste like gravy. Beers are ridiculously priced. For an outback kinda pub I'd expect atleast a half decent feed.

The hotel part is great. Great value for the price. Spacious, helpful staff, quiet, good parking, friendly patrons, everything you want.But the food is dragging the place down. Asked what’s good, mentioned what I was looking for. Was recommended sweet and sour pork. Not at all what I mentioned, I wanted. Closed down an hour early. So, went for it.Wish they had even just 4-5 dishes that are made fresh instead of the overloaded frozen Chinese cuisine, that’s horrible every time. Didn’t eat in 1 1/2 days due to circumstances. Still couldn’t eat it. Not hungry anymore. But ruining appetite is not the goal.I know, it’s not part of hotel. Would book again, but definitely eat elsewhere. Less can be more. Or a different cuisine. Have a nice burger, have a nice schnitzel, have a steak, have a salad. Easy. But no, 60 dishes instead.

Chinese was good, but disinterested female bar staff put a damper on it ,purposefully serving locals in front of you while you've been waiting twice as long. Not good.Rating for food only.

Obviously the rooms are for workers not for travelling public. Definitely not luxurious, well appointed or even worth the $90 we paid. I know you get what you pay for but in this case…. totally disappointing, not clean, not going there again…
