This is an excellent motel. The rooms are well presented and exceptionally clean. The provision of good quality toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities was appreciated. Reception was welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely stay.

Colonial Motor Inn Bairnsdale (Golden Chain Motel)
This is the nicest and cleanest motel I have stayed in. The rooms are immaculate, the hosts are very friendly. We had the family unit which has two bedrooms, lounge/dining, kitchette and bathroom with a big bath.Breakfast is reasonably priced and the menu is vast.I would highly recommend this motel.

Highly recommended. A lovely spacious room, imacculately clean, new amenities and everything you could need. The owners were really friendly and we enjoyed the netflix! Very well priced.

Without Doubt the cleanest most comfortable Motel we have ever stayed in, very affordable, crispy white sheets,soft as cloud pillows, shower with heaps of pressure & not crowded.Owner operator hosts who really take pride in their property. Next time you visit Bairnsdale do yourself a favour & give yourself a relaxing night or two. Regards Terry & Olly
