New owners, better atmosphere. Found a pub that does a really good chips& gravy.... friendly staff, believe I'll be returning soon as to check out the menu more. Well done to the new owners!!

Service is great and drinks are always cold. Meals are average for a pub. They are value for Money. Overall a good venue.

So quiet when we arrived.Lovely chat with friendly barmaid Di and two schooners of ice cold draught in spotless schooners.An enjoyable stop after a little bit of concreting.

A long time local pub in Eaglehawk, serving until recently generally reliable but unremarkable pub food. This had changed when a chef who formerly worked at Mason's (generally considered Bendigo's best restaurant) took over the kitchen but last visit not so positive for me. Food was still very good but kitchen was very slow. I had ordered first in a table of 10, dining room nearly empty and took 50 minutes to get my meal, which was the last one bought to the table. It was a steak with chips and salad so not complex

Service friendly but because the dining is closed Sunday to Wed some food not delivered on time so limited choice. We will go again but from Thurs to Sat. All fresh meat, fish & most vegs so that us refreshing
