Deb and the team at backstreet have been wonderful for my daughter’s confidence and social and emotional well-being. She went from hating performing to loving being on the stage thanks to Backstreet! I have been at backstreet for 1year now and absolutely love love love it.Dance is now my happy place.As an adult who had never danced before i was nervous, but Deb and the team made me feel welcome and at ease.In the last year my confidence has imporved immensely. I have the most amazingly fun time each week. And i never thought i would say it, but i love performing.

Our daughter had never taken dance classes before. This past year at Backstreet has been amazing for her. To see them put on a show after just 8 lessons gives me goosebumps every time.She says,I love dancing at Backstreet it makes me feel alive,free and that I could just be myself. Miss Deb is amazing always inspiring others like me do our best and keep on going.

My daughter has been doing jazz at Backstreet for 1 year now and loves it... she's found her jam! So much so, after receiving her first trophy she's declared she wants to be a 'dance boss like Deb'! I wanted a dance studio that was unpretentious, encouraging, welcoming and fun and that's exactly what you get at Backstreet. It's heart-warming seeing people of all shapes, sizes and cultures come together for a common passion. My daughter has been doing jazz lessons with Backstreet Dance for 1 year now. She enjoys it so much that she always looks forward to a new term with a new song and the production.Deb is surely the best teacher! She is extremely positive, passionate and encouraging! If your looking for a dance company that truly cares about children's well being, self image and growth, Backstreet is the perfect place. Deb and the team really make a difference.

My daughter has danced here for over a year and we have found it to be a very encouraging and caring dance school. Miss Deb, the owner, is very positive and always has a smile and kind word for the children. Term costs are reasonable and I like the fact that you can hire the concert costume rather than having to buy it. Dance concerts happen every term, which is fairly frequent, but I guess it gives the kids extra confidence learning to perform in front of an audience. After each lesson children come home with positive affirmation cards and classes are encouraged to support one another in their progress. There are also opportunities to go to dance overseas, such as in Disney Land and New York which I think is absolutely amazing for young performers. Classes offered include jazz, hip hop, contemporary and adult classes. I would highly recommend this dance school.

My daughter has just finished her first year at Backstreet and has been having the best time. She’s made such a beautiful connection with her teachers and has grown in confidence so much. The difference between her first term and 4th term is so noticeable. I love the way Backstreet is all about having fun, giving it a go and growing in self-love and confidence.
