Howards Storage World South Wharf

Great customer service - I was seriously impressed! Made a better recommendation for my needs than what I was originally after, saved me money, held on to products for me to pick up the same day, helped me take them to my car... you don't get service like this any more! Highly recommend the team here.

The man works there is so rude. If i could rate this store zero i would. I had to ask for a refund because of his terrible service. He threw the receipt at me and admited he did throw it. I told him he was rude and he answered back that I was rude. I've never had a person threw the receipt at me ever. Also when i walked into the store for 15 min and he didn't even bother to greet or even ask if you need a hand. If i was the owner I would never hire someone like him to treat customer this way. I was happy to spend the money but because of his behavior....I rather spend my money else where.

Some great storage ideas in here, but very high prices, which didn't feel to always match the quality. Staff didn't pay any attention to us when we'd been in the store for 20 minutes, examining things along the shelves and walls and being very engaged with their products, to the point the one thing we did want to buy, we decided not to bother asking if they had it in stock.

Disappointed.I wanted to buy a shoe cabinet. They came in different shades, from grey to brown. I need the grey one, to match my home colour. They bring me a sealed box and reluctantly open it (on my demand). The colour of the cabinet was brown. I asked for another one. They said they will not open every box and I can take an displaying item with additional $25. The staff was polite, but not cooperative. Quite disappointing. I will go to other store.

My wife and bought couple of shower caddy only to realise that it won't fit the shower. We paid cash for it and misplaced the receipt. When my wife went there for exchange (we didn't ask for refund), they were very rude to her saying 'how do we know that you didn't pick it up from our store now, and you are trying to claim a credit for it'. She was hurt, if they don't want to exchange it, that is fine, but they have not right to imply to anyone that we have stolen goods from them. I will never buy anything from them ever again. All we wanted was exchange, and if they don't want to do it, then it is fine, but please don't allege anyone of stealing.

Really expensive for storage goods. No unique items sold. That being said they do have a good range. Its the cost that had my eyebrows up. Im not sure if this place is for someone doing their kitchen, for example, from ground up coz they had cabinets and racks to place in those cabinets.

We have gone back to Howard’s to purchase a wine rack. We originally looked for a large wine rack in the store and decided to work out what we needed at home and buy from a supplier on line. A lot of messing about and a long wait for the supplier to send to it out, only to realise that what we had ordered was too big for the space. So back to Howard’s. The young woman shop assistant (I wish we’d caught her name) we had this morning was extremely helpful. She was very willing to help, searched the stock room, checked all parts were with the unit. Very professional and customer service orientated. The shop is expensive but as a general rule the quality is very good and they have a wide range of storage solutions.

Excellent range of quality products and terrific customer service. I went into the South Wharf store on Saturday and found the customer service very attentive immediately upon walking in. I was trying to find the right configuration of bamboo boxes to fit my bathroom drawers & get them organized. It was tricky task made easier by one of the staff members going above & beyond to make me a paper template with the right dimensions for my drawer. They did this totally unprompted and was excellent customer service. Both of the staff members that assisted me were professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely shop here again and recommend Howards Storage World South Wharf to others.

If anyone doesn’t wish to spoil their day, do not go to this shop, the man here is the rudest man ever with zero customer service, rude to kids and have no respect for anyone. If you cannot work here and deal with customers go somewhere else. To the rude staff you owe an apology to all the customers who you are rude to. Never ever returning back to this store. This store doesn’t even deserve 1 star..Ridiculous..

The staff are nice and friendly. Their products are well curated and useful, and they’re generally good value for money. Don’t confuse good value for money for low cost. Many of the items here are expensive, but they’re good quality, and a long term investment.
