Thanks to the team at at Melbourne bikes, I brought my self a Merida big trail 600 and put a mid drive motor, the is so smooth the forks are grate the build turn out really good thanks heaps guys. Maybe I'll came check out a new bike soon this Merida is doing a great job ATM.. thanks again Jason

Bought this Apollo trace 30 yesterday, and one of the chain joints fell. The owner Clint game me a call and kindly explained it is a manufacture issue and then replaced it with a new joint. It all happened out of business hours and I really appreciate his quick response and resolution provided. Will continue shopping at this place.

Excellent service! Have left my bike in a few times for upgrading tyres, fixing a broken pedal and recently a service. Super quick service, very transparent about what fixes are going to be made and at a really reasonable price. Keep it up!

Great service!Our bikes hadn’t been used for a while, flat tyres, dodgy brakes, rusty chain. We didn’t pay anything over the standard service price and the bikes came back good as new within 12 hours.

I wouldn’t recommend the way they do business. Think twice if you go ahead with them and make sure they send you quote before the job is done.First I thank for the work done by your Mechanic.Second, job done but no quote recevied. I had to call 2 to get the quote sent to me after 2 weeks dropping my bike to your store. I left my bike on 28th Dec and was told I will receive a text of quote before proceeding the job. However, nothing recevied, I called back on 7th Jan was told to call me back next day. No call! I called back again on 8th Jan the staff pushed the Quote through, so I only saw the charges after you have done the job. Totally opposite to what you have promised when I dropped my my bike.Things that if I knew I wouldn’t go ahead with but charged me $20 bucks to tighten the crank. Didn’t know that a new Vbrake was needed but the new one was already put on.I shouldn’t have to pay this $30 extra. When I mentioned to your staff, you guys didn’t even care! Just said the work was already done.Lastly, I said to the Mechanic The Bronze service doesn’t cover much it would be cheaper if I just go ahead with the jobs I need to. He said yes it would be cheaper. So your business know a better way to the customer, but you didn’t choose to offer.

I've had two really positive experiences with this shop.First time, the shop staff assisted me with changing the pedals on my bike that were stuck on and I wasn't able to get them off myself.Second experience was when my bottom bracket broke. Called the shop, was quoted for a replacement part and labour. The quoted price was very reasonable so I went ahead with the job. Upon collection of the bike I was told that they were able to refurbish the bottom bracket without replacing it and the job was only half the price that was quoted... amazing!You don't see customer service like this anymore. Really honest bike shop, great mechanics and great prices. I can't give this place enough praise!Thank you for all your help getting me back on the road.

Purchased a bike around the corner from this shop and had no idea where to get gear… walked in here and the service was amazing! The shop was so busy but the person still made time for me. Kitted me out and even set the bike up for me, free of charge! Including fixing my head stem. Turns out the person helping me was Clint, the owner! Would never of known. Great shop with great service will definitely be the only bicycle shop I go to. Thanks guys.
