Morawa-Motor Hotel

The motel units are divided into new" and "old" units. Not sure if the old units are still in use

Great Dongas. Beds are comfortable. Ensuite with Bar Fridge, Toaster and Kettle. Plenty cupboard space. Normal pub meals that are cooked well.

Comfortable clean and has kettle and tv. Plain decor. Food was ok in pub. Great chips. Nice people. Wildflowers amazibg in the area.

Room from the older style block in very poor condition. Leaking seized taps with rusted sink, shower head that does not stand up on its own (wing nuts seized) and sprays in all directions, toilet seat horrible. It speaks for itself when staff provide the room with a can of Black & Gold Bug Spray. The food at the pub was good for what it was and absolutely loved the friendly dog. It looks like there are much better, newer accommodation blocks on site, but unfortunately with my work crew I drew the short straw. Front block definitely needs a major revamp or to be decommissioned entirely. All the best to the staff here.

Quoted $125 per night for a room, and $80 per night for an upstairs pub room. That is expensive as it is for the quality of accomodation, but then we were charged GST on top! $137.50 per night is astonishing, and this business won't last through the temporary boom in the area. Pub is dirty, and food is well below average pub fare. Very dissapointing. No wonder no locals go there.

A big shout out to Sue, who was very friendly and hospitable to our group whilst we were enjoying a drink at the Morawa hotel recently.

We didn't stay here as we had our caravan but we had dinner on 2 nights. On both occasions the meals were delicious and very generous.The staff were excellent - very friendly, fun and helpful.We will certainly go again when we are in the area.

Excellent service, good meals and a very nice motel room compared to others. Only thing to watch out for is the. Shower which leaks badly.

Baby troll and mama troll are never too far away when you don’t want them. Strutting the dirt roads swinging their wooden batons, like they’re headlining a medieval tv show… ready to swing a hit on any would be threat ie a patron wanting a little genuine attention. Happy to belittle all who come. Too far from domestication… you’ll get more love from the cockroaches, ripped sheets, dust mites and lurking legionnaires. So unless you’re looking to see if you’ll survive a night or 2, might be best to swing it to the next stop. As far as food goes, my husband and I have tasted better cardboard boxes.
