Ferryman River Cruises Karumba

What a wonderful and fun filled sunset cruise we enjoyed with Alison and Glen and team! Lots of interesting commentary and bird feeding and croc spotting! Very very generous offers of drinks - all served in chilled glasses (beers and all) and nibbles and prawns!Thank you so much for a very memorable evening Alison and Glen!

Right from the start when making our booking with Allison, then welcomed at the boat (ready and waiting when we arrived) by Glen, Allison and they’re lovely assistants this tour ticked all the boxes.We saw Jabiru’s, Black and also Whistling Kites, Egrets and so many more different birds. We saw crocs! Allison also gave an interesting background into the many buildings lining the Norman River banks, followed by a stunning sunset. We were given liquid refreshments, nibblies, and then prawns - all in plentiful and constant supply. I can definitely recommend Allison’s home made chocolate cake - NOT to be missed! This cruise is value for money and a MUST when visiting Karumba

Great cruise with really helpful, communicative staff. Although we didn't see a huge number of birds, what we did see was really special. And the cake was fantastic too!

A great afternoon cruise with spotting of crocodiles by the ferry captain. Informative commentary of the history of Karumba as you cruise up the river. A stop to feed some fish to a jabiru was one of the highlights for me. Then heading out to the sand island while enjoying drinks and nibblies. We walked the sand island enjoying the patterns in the sand, the shells and sunset. Once the sun is set a trip back to Karumba while still looking out for wildlife. A great afternoon.

We went on the morning cruise, (they even waited 5 mins as we went to wrong wharf,thank you ❤) it was an informative beautiful cruise, seen a couple of crocs, drank bubbles ate prawns,cake and fruit, a perfect morning

Had a great day on the afternoon cruise saw a few crocs awesome big and docile from a distance , watched sunset on a sandbank in middle of the river Norman while supping a few beverages and eating nibbles and prawns

More than a bit disappointed, As there is a lot of recommendations from fellow travellers about doing the sand island sunset trip, we had to check it out. When booking was told, yes we go out to the sand island". However on the night on the boat everyone was told "due to the high tide there is no sand island
