Friendly Grocer

the young guy picked his nose infront of me as he put my fruit in the bag dirty grub never going back here used to come everyday not since the young guy is there now

$3.50 for a single face mask and its basic, no extra features. No way this place is friendly. No duty of care to customers, never supporting this “local”business. Dear owner i know you want make quick money but think of the pandemic and ordinary people who want to buy a mask to do the right thing, your prices are not helping those people.

Staff is great and handles shoppers really well. Some things stocked are mislabelled. I’ve had 4 occasions I can recall where the tags say something like $2 and when it’s scanned it’s $5.I dropped some money at one point, $2.50 in loose change. It went under the counter, the guy there just stood there, didn’t even recognise what happened. So I reach under and there’s dust and dead bugs, lolly wrappers and basically a gross little hidey hole.

I bought a 5 kg packet of rice and it had so bad smell. The cost was also higher than other stores. It looks like they try to sell old stock. Also the staff is not at all friendly. If you ask for something they directly say that its out of stock even when its there. They just don’t want to put an effort to find an item for you. The prices are also too high. Expensive for no reason!

Vet expensive store. I got my cancer sunscreen for $16.99. You can get a 500 ml bottle at the same price from woolies.

Young guy who served us did not interrupt his phone call to do so or greet me, very rude. Shop is ok, somethings are over the top expensive like chocolate. The ladies who work there are very pleasant, the guys are ordinary.

Horrible customer service and wouldn’t help resolve a issue with Uber, lady claims they had nothing in stock milk, cheese and juice etc but didn’t appear a worker tried to even search for items as they were cancelled within seconds of making the order, so it’s fine for them to accept a order and cancel it because they are too lazy to work and then you have no money left till it’s returned and no food. Other company’s at least make alternatives or contact you to arrange a alternative but this lady said it’s my issue with Uber but I assure if she did the work some of the items would of made it my way or update the site to say it’s out of stock like every other company does on Uber.

The guy who refill the products was so rude. I told him to open the new box of khari he was so angry and served so rudely. Such a bad experience….

FEEDBACK on a negative experience: An unpleasant and perplexing experience at your Westmead outlet : I made some purchases TX#2316699 on 23-01-2021 at 20:01:22" and was informed and charged $68.63 to my card. I then proceeded to request for a receipt but then was very promptly advised by the young male cashier that there had been an error and I had been charged incorrectly and the actual bill was $38.63 and was handed $30 cash back. This has been an unpleasant experience and forces me to seriously reconsider my options for groceries in the area - this has left a really bad taste !!!"

I understand its handy and close by next to the station with no competition around the area thus the prices are bit higher. My issue is why don't they restock fresh products for the price we pay atleast. Adding to it, I bought 2 old and dry spinach recently which was clearly labelled 5$ for 2, 4$ for one. I got charged 8$ in total for 2 soggy spinach. Wouldn't really find out if I hadn't checked the receipt. They were nice enough to return the difference 3$ after an argument. But man wasn't my time and energy wasted. Absolutely Rip off!!!!
