Goulburn Valley Dental Group - Shepparton

I had a bad experience with this clinic. I started the root canal treatment with them spent about 2000$ but the doctor couldn't fix due ?crack in the tooth. I went to another specialist in Melbourne he couldn't see a crack. While waiting for further appt with the Melbourne doctor pain got worse contacted them( GV dental) and no one would take me because I complained to them about the service I received. They gave me the appt with the owner of the clinic in 4 weeks time. In the mean time pain got worse I had to under go tooth extraction in another clinic in Shepparton and on examination that dentist told me that my tooth had 2 nerves and they only did the one root.So if any one choosing this clinic for your root canal treatment please choose the senior doctors over there. Overall opinion about them is very money oriented and doesn't care what happens to their patients after the treatment.Further addition to the owners comment:The Shepparton dentist who did my tooth extraction (who is a friend of the GV dental ) only told me I have two roots and only one is treated and only an experienced dentist can identify this. The good will money offered to me was $250 something where as I paid $ 350 for the other Shepparton dentist. It’s not always about the money it’s about the quality care you give to patients with accountability and integrity.

Fantastic. I had a wisdom tooth extraction appointment at 8:30 this morning for a rotten little stump I thought was going to require a hospital visit & several thousand dollars. Was in & out in under 20 minutes. No pain, minimal swelling. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

I had a worst experience I would never recommend this to anyone. They put SDF to my 2 year baby without telling me the pros and cons of the procedure. I suffer alot due to this. WORST experience very very disappointing.

Booked in for an emergency tooth extraction today and was in and out within the hour. From the ladies at the desk to the dentists themselves, I cannot fault them at all. Highly recommend them

Could not recommend Mrs Church enough. Daughter gets quite nervous and she always makes her feel as calm as possible and doesn’t rush anything. Plus she gave a needle to her and she has a phobia, and didn’t even realise!

We saw Dr Karen at GV Dental group for our 5 year old who needed a 'pulpotomy' I can safely say it was the most amazing and incredible; stress free experience we have had. Karen was absolutely wonderful with our daughter, assured her everything was fine and spoke kindly and professionally to us throughout the process. By far the best dental clinic in the GV.

Terrible experience!! They are only friendly and chirpy in the beginning, once they get your money you'll be treated poorly. I needed an emergency appointment due to an infection after they did work on my tooth, they said they couldn't fit me in for 3 weeks!! As a customer you'd think I would have been a priority especially since I was in their duty of 'care' I told them it was an emergency, I called in the morning and they couldn't even fit me in to have a look at the problem. I was in so much pain I could barely talk. Ended up in hospital, was put on antibiotics and referred to another dentist who booked me in immediately! Worst dentist I've ever been to!

Could not recommended Dr Tran enough. She was very calming and professional. Thank you Margaret for looking after me so well.

They are nice but not really thorough, pretty expensive, they dont tell you about the cost until they finish every thing. Its not great experience as bree one of the dentist was running quickly through the process and didint explain it well to me.
