Arrived for a first date at Courtney's Brasserie tonight. Behind schedule I rang them and requested they hold my table for 30min until I arrived.They were kind enough to agree and saved us a window seat to.Once we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. The staff were very professional but in a friendly sort of way.Fancy but with a smile.The food portions for the mains were pretty good, the duck and what she ate both looked and smelt fantastic. I tried both dinners and was pretty happy with the food.The entree (which we both ordered) was maybe 4 or 5 scallops, I wanted more though.2 drinks total bill $140 not bad for the food.Quite atmosphere, great staff who look happy, good restaurant. I was looking for a restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday and just so happened upon it when searching online. I've been around Parramatta for a while now and have never noticed the place. Decided to try the degustation in order to sample as many dishes as possible. The food was great. The service was excellent, and it had a good atmosphere as well. I wasn't expecting a fine-dining experience in Parra. Pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely come back!

We had a lovely meal here on our Annicersary and they didn't let us down. Everything was great.. the service..food. We had a miscomunnication with the order but the server was quick to resolve it. The prices are reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. Would love to dine here again

Beautifully composed food which was cooked perfectly and such excellent service!An absolute hidden gem!

The food and service was sensational. Both the beef and venison cooked to perfection. I was impressed with the focus on local food and wine. Speaking of which, the wine menu was superb. The only thing I could possibly fault them for was that the menu was still quite winter focused. Very delicious though, I'll definitely be going back.

Delicious food with high standard of presentation. We had excellent service by accommodating wait staff who made an effort to be warm and friendly. Our wine was decanted instead of poured from the bottle which was a nice touch. The restaurant is well presented and set up so no tables are near the restrooms or a noisy kitchen, this is a refreshing change from other restaurants of the same price range. Highly recommended.

We had the $85 degustation menu. It was amazing! The staff were polite and the wine selection was great. I recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back for more. They are open for lunches and dinners on different days of the week. I would recommend booking ahead. Allow plenty of time as there is a wait between courses and probably deliberatly as you expect at any good restaurant that presents its food well.

Highly recommended restaurant! Food is amazing and the staff there are friendly! The only thing I don’t like is that the mashed potatoes is a little bit salty!

Came here for the degustation menu and it was a beautifully presented and intimate little restaurant. Very cosy and staff were very friendly, looked after us well and always made sure to top up our water and made sure we were going well. The lunch itself, however, felt very sluggish, even though the restaurant was no where near full, food was coming out at a very slow pace. Felt like the kitchen was struggling with our table of 8, with minor details such as poor plating evident (food was fallen over etc) but to judge it based on these alone would be too harsh. The food itself was only so-so with the oyster and salmon being the most average of the menu. The veal was well cooked which was delightful and dessert was ambitious, if not a little crowded with a trio of sweets (unevenly) on a single plate. Overall it's a pretty decent 'fancy' spot for Parramatta and it's well suited for a (very) long lunch with a partner you enjoy spending a lot of time with.

An explosion of flavours. Great relaxing atmosphere. Friendly warm service. I was lucky to experience a special French fine dining menu that they happened to arrange during my visit with my Australian cousin.With several quirky combination of flavours, it's très français !My favorites are the escargots (snails), the salmon in crème fraîche (French sour/fresh cream), and the very bizarrely nice dish of poulet (chicken) with chestnuts and mustard.And we even received a complimentary (I think) apple-cinnamon ice cream as a pre-dessert"!And that truffle ice cream...However
