It's basically just a fire-trail that heads up the mountain, but all there is at the end is a gate that heads into private property. The peak of Scone Mountain is not actually within the National Park. At any rate, it's a nice walk with a great view over the town

Nice and peaceful. Great views over the town and nearby hills. Good for a trail run, mountain biking or just enjoy the peace for some photography. A bit steep in some parts. Minimum fitness level required.
