Lorne Bay View Motel

Booked 2yrs ago when bushfires prevented us from going to our holiday home in Bright, last minute roads opened up for Bright. Rang Adam was told Under the circumstances would get a refund minus a night. Was happy with that. Over 2yrs later no refund, offered to use the booking….Adam continues to promise to get back to me after hundreds of calls and emails. Nothing. Effectively stole over $1700 from me and now just avoiding my calls and doesn’t respond to any emails.

Accommodation was lovely. Terrific location. Adam and staff were very friendly and helpful. Behind the Lorne Hotel. On Friday and Saturday the pub is noisy until 11pm. There is also a garbage truck for the hotel that comes around 7am. Sofa bed was super comfy. Kitchenette was great. Would stay here again.

A very last minute booking Friday night and this beautiful hotel saved the day as i was in much distress.So accommodating and well looked after.Such wonderful and friendly service its hard to come by these days and truly made my day with the fantastic service.The room was amazing so clean and big and lovely furniture, great kitchenette facilities and great bathroom.Also great parking out the front.A great view of the ocean and parts of lorne.Perfect location, pub next door and shops and beach right at your footsteps.Overall a wonderful stay, definitely stay here it’s great ,definitely looking forward to coming back here, a big 10 out of 10.

It was my first time going to Lorne with my partner and let me tell you staying at Lorne Bayview made my trip so memorable and comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights, and we loved this place. we were supposed to stay for 1 night, but the host Adam was so lovely that we stayed for another night. we were very comfortable at Lorne Bayview. Adam was amazing and was very helpful. He gave us a list of all the places to see and recommended few restaurants which made it easier for us to make the most out of this beautiful town. Lorne Bayview Motel is in perfect location, close to the beach and the local shops and restaurants. we will definitely go back there again. :)

Recently stayed there, loud music from the pub next to the motel went on until late in the evening on both nights we stayed. Additional noise from the garbage/empty bottles being dumped into garbage bins from the pub throughout the evening. Then additional noise early in the morning (6am) with garbage trucks emptying the bins. This combined noise did not give a pleasent experience. Toilet seat was barely held on, was ready to fall off. Very old dated rooms, in need of a renovation desperately. The cost for what you get is not worth to stay here. We will not stay there again.

Havent even stayed yet and still waiting on a confirmation email. Website been down almost a month so can't email anyone. Called over 10 times only ever got through twice. No one answers the phone. Left 3 voice messages with my details to check about my confirmation for a booking, so far haven't heard back from anyone. Do the place even operate? Wondering if I need to find alternative accommodation as I can't confirm my current booking. Bit worried what the rest of stay might be like if basic customer service like phone answering can't be achieved. Not a good experience so far.

Great location being a nice walk to the beach. Comfy bed but let down by lack of cleaning. Marks on the bedding, dirty bathroom floor and couldn't use the overgrown outdoor space which was full of cigarette butts making it unpleasant to sit in but also overlooking the hotel in front with a view of their staff sitting on the steps smoking. Very noisy with music from the hotel topped off with regular emptying of bottles into bins and an early visit from the bin men. Our experience of accommodation in Lorne wasn't good!

I Highly recommend this motel. The location is perfect. Rooms are very spacious, clean and fully equipped with plenty of natural light. Beds are very comfortable. Adam and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the Lorne Bay View over the Kings weekend. Our room was spotless, the linen crisp and clean. Just an easy wander back from dinner at the Lorne Hotel. A great spot, Adam was also fantastic host. Highly recommend.
