Walkerville Foreshore Camping Reserve

This camping site is simply unreal and what a hidden jem it is. Literally 2 minutes away from the ocean, you can just wake up and have a swim first thing in the morning. Falling asleep with the sound of the waves in the background was magic to say the least.We got a lucky last minute spot for three of us and we thoroughly enjoyed our beloved spot. Only regret is the very short time we had to stay due to our commitments. Will definitely be back!

Stunning location. Had a wombat visit us in the night. Sites level with good views to beach, family friendly, store provided a continuous trade of food. Really cool fire pits mounted on old lawn mowers & wood for hire

Such a shame! The place has turned into a concentration camp run by a very very angry and rude lady! We’ve been coming to Walkerville Foreshore Campground for years and was disappointed to find out that the place has new management. We've always had such friendly and welcoming managers with no issues. Not this time!! The new Manager lady has no social skills and absolutely no customer service skills. So much anger inside her. I understand we didn’t follow the T&C’s however made an effort to rectify and after making an honest mistake she was threating to kick us out talking to us like we were naughty school kids. Make sure you study the terms and conditions before your stay otherwise expect a visit. I would still recommend this camp as the location is unreal. The kiosk is great and has really really tasty food. The husband seems like a decent person with a friendly manner and at least can communicate without self-combusting. Looking at the other google reviews it seems we’re not the only campers who had the same experience with old mate.

Great location but worth being aware of the beach setup. Great rock pool beach but limited sand. Worth the short drive or walk at low tide to magic beach.

Honestly very underatted joint, beach is nice with a couple of unreal spots to camp. Little pricey but definitely worth it. Rocky beach but that doesn’t take away anything from the joint.

We are totally impressed with this camping ground. The grounds are in pristine condition, the location is perfect and the toilets/showers are spotless. The only thing you need to be aware of is you need to bring your own drinking water as all water here is untreated. We’ve never been to a camping ground that is so well kept.

Very rude, impolite and non-cooperative site management. We felt unwelcomed.The location and the place is very nice but the whole experience was ruined by the lady at the front office with absolutely no social skills. I would've highly recommended this place if their management is a little more transparent about the fees and overheads.The staff also took out extra money without consent from my debit card. I even reported the issue with higher management via email. However, never received a reply.
