I wish I could give them 0 stars. There is no customer service the phone is disconnected so, before you sign up do yourself a favour and try to call them. The only way to contact them is through live chat if they reply to your messages. In addition, the live chat is useless the only thing that they will do is asking you to send an email regarding your problem or issue. I signed up for NBN 25 and I tested the speed and all I am getting is 9.8 mbps. I can't stream Netflix on my smart tv as I get n-w-2-5 error because of my internet connection. You get what you pay for you pay less you get no customer service at all and terrible internet connection. I sent a cancellation request and refund request and they will charge you for two months in advance when you sign up. I will keep this updated.15/02/21 update.I am still trying to cancel the service and I am still stuck with that epic fail service. They sent me a username and password to use and I still can't use Netflix on my tv. I wish I could upload screenshots of the conversation. I asked the support agent to cancel the service so I can sign up with another internet provider he said I don't have the ability to do that.

I started the process of getting epic at the beginning of February selecting the ASAP choice I was given. After giving them my address it took forever for them to get back to me saying I wasn’t connected with NBN.Told it would take a week for NBN to respond and set up an appointment to connect me, I waited, and waited.Trying to get in contact with Epic was very hard, the phone line isn’t connected and emails take days/weeks for a response. The only thing that worked was the live chat eventually. They kept telling me the same thing that it wouldn’t take more then a week and it was listed as priority. So a more then a month after trying to be connected to their service NBN finally came on the 9th March.Epic immediately charged me the next day a month in advance pulse $25 for some reason.AND NOW 2 days later on the 12th my internet has gone down twice. What the actual heck!!!!I wasted heaps of money on data as it was a new place I’d moved into without internet thinking ASAP didn’t mean over a month for an internet connection. If this doesn’t get fixed fast I seriously expect some sort of consideration for my time or something, like seriously, I would’ve been so better off with another company I’m sure.Just give me internet that works!!!!

They charge you upfront for the rest of the month and then 1 month in advance on top, NOT CLEARLY WRITTEN ANYWHERE. No other telco company I have seen do this. Their customer service is terrible, slow and rude - Their team can be seen unprofessionally and sarcastically arguing with unhappy clients on forums. Website is clunky and had next to no information on it - the customer log in was broken the whole time we were connected with Epic. Terms and conditions cannot be found unless signing up and even when you do find them, you can't find what you're looking for.The Internet was not correctly transferred from our previous provider, thus we have paid for 2 services (apparently standard practice" for us to have to cancel one ourselves - not in our experience). We have not used even a minute of the service we have paid you nearly $160.00 for and were only refunded $38.00 upon cancellation (which btw

No service at all. Can anyone reply me or answer my phone? Epic activated my account and started charging me from the afternoon of 13th April. In the following three days, they hadn’t ever send me the modem. How can I use your internet? I send Epic an email to request process my modem as early as possible. No reply, no response, no updates. I have no choice and then write my review here. If anyone from Epic saw these, if you care about your customers, can you reply me?

I had joined Epic in late November on the 100mbps plan. Speeds are consistently around the 90-95 mark. Customer support always available, reliable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend!

SCAM ALERT.. iPlex?? More like I’m perplexed. This is the registered office for Epic Broadband on ASICS website. Funny that there internet has been offline for 4 days no one answering calls or emails and now with their website being taken down all of a sudden their name is iPlex Broadband, what a crazy coincidence. Looking further into it seems the guy the company is registered to was also linked to a similar company (Infinity Telco) that also ceased without notice in almost identical circumstances a few years back and was investigate by ACCC for anti-competitive clauses. Unbelievable what these guys are getting away with

Epic (fail) broadband!I submitted and application 7 days before I moved in my new property. The day came when I moved in and there was no connection. So I chatted to someone online and they said it was still being done. So the day went by and no communication from no one. So I contacted them at the end of the day to find out the service I requested was no longer being sold. So I said to the person on the chat why did this happen and whats my options from here? I got no response the chat was cut of. So I called them and got a message the lines are busy so call back. So I called back a little later and someone answered then they just hung up on me! Just stay away from these guys. They really need to work on their customer service.

While their NBN plans are cheap, their customer service and reliability is nothing short of appalling.I was overcharged on my first invoice (which you prepay for 2 months), advised by a customer service agent that I would be provided a statement credit on my next invoice which, you guessed it, was not provided. To top it off, the next invoice was YET AGAIN charged at the incorrect rate ($79.90 instead of $64). I'm honestly not sure where the online chat team gets their information from as I was told on at least 3 separate online chats by different agents that I was on the $64 plan and that my next invoice would be $64 - so you can imagine my utter confusion and disappointment when I was overcharged yet again. Their phone line is also impossible to get through and their email response time is 3 weeks+ and counting (emailed 7 April 2021, no response as at 2 May 2021).The connection also disconnects sporadically throughout the day and will require restarting the modem to re-establish connection - was previously with TPG and did not have this issue.Update 10/05/2021 - Internet has been down for 5 days from an alleged 'Nationwide outage' with zero communication from Epic. Website is down, facebook deleted, emails undeliverable, on hold for over 3 hours on the phone and their Google listing name has changed? This is one hell of a shady business run by a bunch of crooks. If their website ever comes back up - DO. NOT. JOIN.

Please stay away from this provider if you value your time and money.Cons:1) They dont inform you about the upfront fee and will charge you Pro rata and the full amount for the upcoming month, even before making sure that you can actually go online.2) My connection didn't work, even after spending time with their support for 2 days (Please note that they are never available on phone and only via chat) and when I asked them to cancel, they told me there is a one month notice period for a connection that never worked and charged me for a month.3) Dont be surprised if you get different messages from different people/ teams, depending on whom you talk to. Their support team (over the chat), confirmed I should be getting a full refund (multiple times), since they could not get me online, however the actual team who took care of the cancellation gave me an entirely different message and ended up charging me for a month.Basically, I ended up spending 2 days with their customer care, who could not figure out the issue and ended up paying them a months bill for a service that I never received. Then i went with TPG and I was online within a day.Pros: Unfortunately, there was nothing.
